Game Thread: #2 Clemson vs #11 Ohio State CFP semifinal (8p ET ESPN)

No coach, if OSU wins it will not be one of the greatest stories ever in college football. It will be one of the cheapest. I’m glad Clemson got slaughtered but, it sucks that a team that played half a season has a shot at the title. Hopefully Bama can prevent that travesty from happening.

At this point, I hope everybody (fans, players, coaches) that wear Crimson will just forget they only played 6 games. We don't want to give them any extra motivation (like Dabo gave them).

At this point, it doesn't matter if they've played 12 games or just 1 game. They are what stand between us and #18.

Gotta come here and say I was wrong wrong wrong about this game. OSU had great heart and dominated. Still don't have any problems with Dabo's pregame comments though. That had zero to do with the outcome. Congrats Buckeyes for proving the better team after their six game schedule.

Wow there some people in here with some bad eyes if they think Lawerence is an NFL bust. He is 6”6 has rocket arm great athleticism and can make all the throws. He is a franchise quarterback in the future.

With a slow release. He will be like Cam Newton. A few good years with a peak in his 3rd or 4th year then a steady decline. He's more Trent dilfer than Tom Brady.

Clemson looked so unathletic in the back end of their defense. Almost like Dabo invited a bunch of the frat boys flag football team to play. Ohio St exposed them for sure.

I don’t see Bama giving them billboard material....... Saban and his troops have always been pretty respectful of opponents, and I don’t see that changing........ all the while being quiet and preparing

I was shocked by this outcome. By far the best Fields has looked all year. This will be a very tough game for Bama. I hope the Fileds that played the previous 3 games against ranked teams shows up, not the one from tonight.

RBs - ? I think this is EVEN Sermon is very good. He can run or catch passes, then run just like N. Harris. He's even imitating Harris by flying over defenders.
WRs - ? I think this is close to EVEN, unless Waddle is back full strength.
OL - ? I'll give this to tOSU
DL - ? I'll give this to tOSU. Lawrence didn't have time to do anything. Will Mac be protected from that mad RUSH? That MAD RUSH leads to interceptions and fumbles.
LB's - ? I'll give this to tOSU
DBs - ? I'll give this to tOSU
Special Teams - ? I think this is EVEN
Motivation - tOSU is highly motivated and seems to be highly teed off. Dabo ranked them #11. Coach Saban ranked them #5, I think. Looks like tOSU was HIGHLY MOTIVATED against Clemson. Bama is FAVORED by 7, I think. That's just another motivator.

Notre Dame had a pretty good OL and DL, but tOSU has a great OL and DL. I am CONCERNED.
I sure HOPE Waddle is READY, because we will need everyone. This will be the toughest game of the year for Alabama.

I sure HOPE Bama beats tOSU, but the best looking team on TV today was tOSU. I'd RANK them #1 after today.
