stacey abrams announces bid for georgia gov

  • Hi Guest, we are working on updating the site servers and software. We're also 'forcing' everyone to read and agree to our site privacy policy and terms of service. There are no significant changes to either of these but the terms page does clarify a few things that are mostly in the legalese. You can just click the checkbox for both and continue using the site as usual! We'll update you more on the site upgrades VERY soon! THANK YOU AS ALWAYS for supporting the site and being an active participant!

It’s hard to believe, but I think she already has the coveted endorsement from the former President.

If nothing else, Georgia needs some new politicians in the governor's office to breathe new ideas in to the government. Single party rule sucks, pretty no matter who is in charge. Save for the fact we're suffering from a rotting two party system where one side refuses to even consider working with the other side.

Hope she wipes the floor with frat boy
Well, the Georgia legislature is currently under Republican control. How much of the no doubt progressive and liberal agenda she would put forth would see the light of day would be debatable. Of course, if the legislature shifts to the Dems, with her election, that would complete a shift to the left begun in the last senatorial elections. Could well happen. If the state Democratic party proved one thing in the last election, it can flat damn organize for an election.

from what i have heard, she was pretty well known as being willing and able to work with the republicans when she was a state senator.

there is going to be a massive amount of organizing with her and warnock both running in the next election.
