This Oregon State-Utah State game is entertaining.

Neither time could stay within three scores of the top eight, but the game is entertaining.
My Oregon bud (who lost his football thanks to Disney today, but he's recovered) said, "Oregon State could stay with Alabama."

I said, "Yeah. Until the coin toss."

(He was just kidding of course).

Ive met one Oregon St fan in my life. I can’t decide if a Duck is worse than a beaver or if it’s the other way around.

I mean, many of the Duck fans we've had here acted like they were blue-bloods - I don't think I've ever seen a Beaver fan act like that. But then, I don't know many of either.

Duck fans by far are some of the most confident and easily offended group I’ve ever met. They were loud loud loud from 2008-14.

Beavers tend to be loud during baseball but they have earned it.

You met the outlier.

They're a school like Ga Tech, Purdue, Vandy, or Stanford that's academics first.
Their far closer to Ivy League than they are to the Ducks now that the Quacks have gained some success.

Baseball being a more scholarly game than football makes it right up their alley.

Also - they did publicly salute and congratulate Mariota on the Heisman. Yeah, I know there's Nike money both places, but the Ducks win this one without Oregon St even getting a first down in the Obnoxious Bowl.

I went to Tech school and eventually got stationed with an arrogant Duck fan. He constantly talked about how the Civil War (UO vs Org st) was the greatest and longest rivalry in the country. He kept on whining about Bob Stoops complaining in a game vs Oregon years prior. He was one of the worst kinds of football fans that I had ever personally known.

You know what's funny?

My Oregon bud lives in Eugene but he's a lifelong Washington Huskies/Notre Dame fan (he's originally from an hour north of Seattle). When we first met online in 1999 trading sports games, among his first words were "I HATE the Ducks." I mean, they weren't all that good. But he still hated them and said the same things about their team you're sayingn from their better days.

The few I’ve met are worse than most of the Auburn fans that I’ve met in my life. They are a bunch of crybabies that constantly whine about nonsense. I mean seriously they believe Joey Harrington is the greatest quarterback that ever lived and most disrespected athlete of all time.

I honestly just don’t get it. To put this way… Blitzkrieg was a tame Oregon fan in my experience

Blitz was okay, miss that guy a bit.

But yeah, nobody chanted "We Want Bama" louder than they. Several years ago they blew out Tennessee and my bud had to listen to, "We beat the SEC!" He was like, "No, no, that's not how it works." He really does talk about them like we do Auburn, but Auburn does have a couple of national championships, too.

They really thought they were going to drop 45 points on Auburn in 2010, their fans anyway.

Oh I heard “23-6” from the Oregon crowd a lot. It is a reference from 2000-08 the PAC 12 record vs SEC. I’m like “well 90% of those wins are USC”.
