Russia invades Ukraine - VI

  • Hi Guest, we are working on updating the site servers and software. We're also 'forcing' everyone to read and agree to our site privacy policy and terms of service. There are no significant changes to either of these but the terms page does clarify a few things that are mostly in the legalese. You can just click the checkbox for both and continue using the site as usual! We'll update you more on the site upgrades VERY soon! THANK YOU AS ALWAYS for supporting the site and being an active participant!

Russia's military continues to brag about new weapons and technology that they cannot seem to get into the field or in the air(in great quantities).

Their vaunted new tank(T14 Armata) isn't even in Ukraine because their industry is unable to produce them in great quantities.

Their vaunted Su-57 "stealth" jet will probably never see mass production.

I really like the cool, sleek lines of their fighter jets (Mig 35, Mig 29 , Su-27, even the Su-57), but they would be shot out of the sky in a real shooting war with the West.

A military type on CNN just brought up something IDK why hadn't occurred to me. What the Russians say they're going to do is impossible. Are they going to teleport them over to the east and south? If they try to convoy their way up to Belarus and around, they'll be sitting ducks. If they try to move them through unoccupied Ukraine, they'd be crazy. Once I thought about it, it's stupid...
