Also I'm going to say this plainly.

I don't care what bridges have been burned. I don't care what the NCAA says.

Saban absolutely needs to get Pruitt on the phone. If the NCAA and the SEC succeed in keeping him from hiring him as the defensive coordinator, then pay him 7 figures to be an analyst. Alabama desperately needs someone that's demonstrated that level of competence around and he's not even employed right now.

What would you prefer to do? Make some people irritated or build another championship team? Do what must be done, not what others want to happen...

Ole Miss is going to take Alabama apart.

You'll know if this team's packed it in for sure against Ole Miss. If they get blowed off the field they for sure have packed it in. I picked LSU in this game as much as I didn't want to. But it could definitely get ugly next week.

That really is how this season feels - wasted. Seemingly so much talent wasted by ineffective coordinators.

A waste of talent the likes of which I have never seen before. Saban needs to clean house.

The first one was legit. The second made no sense at all. If that was Sabans call I have to question his math skills. But someone shoulda said something.

The whole team did. But that OT TD is inexcusable. You had one job.

This was a total team loss. Coaches, Defense, and Offense. It was a bad scene.

I think Coach Saban has some rebuilding to do. Sounds crazy with the accumulated stars on the roster, but this team consistently makes mistakes at crucial times

But everyone was so happy when our previous SC left for Ga. All I heard was the new guys were cutting edge.

The new guys are, but then the head guy was hired away by the New Orleans Saints this year. Maybe his backups aren't as good.

I hate everything about this. This isn’t a “one off”… it’s the trend from last year continued. We will always be very good as long as Coach Saban is here, but it is not the same. Surely he sees this….

Poor coaching. Going for 2 after the TD made no sense. Would have made the last kick the winner. The blitz on 3rd down when their qb ran for 30 yards was also a stupid play. Left the middle wide open for a long scramble. And the the defense in ot. Incredible disappointed in this staff. Players fought hard, even on an off night.

Golding left the middle wide open on 3 consecutive 3rd and longs. Moved MLBs outside to blitz…. Just incredible really

Yeah, unlike the Tennessee game, I thought the refs did a pretty good job of keeping it fair. I was still waiting for them to come back with a "tipped ball" though.

Yeah, but they missed a PI on the third down and 10 play to Brooks at the end of regulation. The DB pulled his left arm down before the ball got there. IF they call reaching in on Branch, and failing to give a clear path PI on Ricks , they have to call that. But yeah, it was a decent officiating crew.

I mean is he wrong. You know for sure if Steven is done by what happens this off season for sure. Because if these two guys come back to coordinators it will be an ugly here next year. If you think this team is not good offensively wait next year when either jayla Melrose the quarterback or a true freshman or a red shirt freshman it could get really bad.

He has to reboot the coaching staff. That's obvious to everyone, but will he do it?
