We expected him to make an instant impact. There was "proof' from Louisville he had potential. He was supposed to be a burner.

I know he got hurt and missed a good part of the season, but when he was finally healthy...no impact.

It's a possibility that he lost a step post-injury.

Duron Carter 2.0 does come to mind. If he were a FR I could see CNS seeing if he might try a switch to CB.

It's really hard to get separation when the defense knows EXACTLY what routes you are running on every play based on formations and tendencies that NEVER change, and sets up where the route is supposed to break open.

Our defense also lacked the ability to Seek & Destroy and the looked like The Thing That Should Not Be.

Waiting for a new OC and DC is starting to seem like The Day That Never Comes.

tough timing for him to leave since he's coming off that knee injury. hate he's leaving as he was highly rated, and I was hoping that perhaps with a change in coaching he might be able to make a push for PT.

With a lot of these " highly rated " kids, it`s looking a lot like if they`re not starting ( for pretty much ANY reason ) at least by their sophomore year the chances of them entering the transfer portal go up logarithmically.
