Bama Game Thread: Official Postgame Thread - Bama vs. UTw...

1. Texas DL was better than our OL.
2. Texas OL was better than our DL.
3. Milroe is not a good QB against a good team.
4. Its good that I dont take football as seriously as I once did.
5. We are going to struggle against every good team we play....Ole Miss, A&M, LSU, Tennessee. I could honestly see us losing at least 3 with our QB play.
6. Unless we have an absolute multitude of miracles, we'll have our first class come through without a national title.
7. I'm on to another beer.

Well let’s see what Texas does the rest of the year. If they run the table, this loss won’t look quite as bad. If we can put it together, and improve every game, we could be back in the picture.

But I have a feeling Texas will go ahead and lose their requisite 5 games now that their Super Bowl is over.

Man I’m sad haha 38 and still can’t handle a loss well. That being said we’ve looked worse and come out the other end champions before. We just gotta have a real and legit come to Jesus meeting as a whole. It’s time to see what Buchner can do

I agree totally with #4.

3 of the 6 highest ranked recruiting classes in history are on campus right now, yet this is the result. Something isn’t right.

Well, for all of the great recruiting classes, we still don't have a QB that has developed, or an offensive plan they can follow. Just watching the Texas game plan tonight, their linemen didn't have to block very long. Their receivers were running sharp routes and the ball was usually out quickly negating our pass rush. Their plan moved the chains, and set up the big plays they were able to execute. I still don't know what kind of offense we are running. You're correct, something isn't right.

It feels sad that I have watched the sun set on two great coaches Paul Bryant and now Saban. I love both men and what they have done for us especially Saban has been phenomenal. We may still pull it together and win the West but unless we have a change at QB I don’t see how. The interceptions killed us along with the penalties if we change and go withTy we will still drops some games but the end result will be different. If we stay with JM we could lose four or five ball games.

Our defense gave out because we kept putting them in terrible situations. Offense has more issues than solutions and they are probably fixable but not if JM stays behind the center he is too erratic. It is either boom or bust with him.

I still don’t see the mental or physical toughness to win this type of game. It’s hard to understand and take.

Interesting that both projected SEC west teams have already lost.
Texas physically handled us. Not the worst part, though. The Saban dynasty is likely over.
I would say so too. I’m not looking forward to the rest of the season. Honestly, I think we all knew things many not go well tonight.

I feel terrible for the players more than anyone. I can't imagine what it must feel like.

Some former player a few years.ago mentioned the idea of not wanting to be the guys who let it end. But it's not really like that. I hope they don't feel that way
