lI do not wish bash any of our players. They all work hard and I respect them for that. It was clear today Buchner isn’t the answer. Ty is a better passer. Milroe gives us the best chance. How many times did Ty get sacked today? Again some of those end up being positive plays because of Milroe‘s athleticism. Experience and scheme are what we are lacking.
Milroe was sacked multiple times too

Why do people keep saying this? He can’t read a defense. That’s not something a 3rd year player can just learn.

I’m not sure about any of these QBs, but with the QB play today, I thought we would’ve seen him back in for a series or two
No. He had his chance. If Saban lets Milroe come back in against an inferior team then that means he’s going BACK to Milroe. Saban knew it was a Zero Risk game to play other QBs and see what they have. No point in playing Milroe.

Milroe can’t make average quarterback plays. His windup is too long for quick routes, even if he decides to pull the trigger. He’s not accurate in the mid range, even when he has time. He’s maxed out his development.

I don’t want to pick a fight. He has started 3 games. Does anyone honestly think we only only score 17 points today if he started his 4th game? Also go back to what I said about scheme. If he struggles reading a defense then make the game and the read easier for him him by giving quick safe throws and picking your spots for chunk plays later in the game. My 2 cents.

Rees can’t make the scheme any easier. It was already a one read scheme. And it doesn’t matter how many points Milroe scores against scrub teams. He can’t beat good teams. All you have to do is watch the aTm game from last year. He’s not a QB. It’s a failed experiment.

I think I largely agree with this. I don't think Milroe right now is a world beater or anything but we score more today if he starts.

I missed some of Tys snaps putting my son to bed but outside of 1 throw I didn't see a whole lot.

I was hopeful we had a QB who could run the Alabama offense consistently but I think the reality is our best QB might just be a boom or bust guy and we need to tailor the offense more to him than we have.

Not sure why you are so dead set against trying to let this kid develop but that is cool. Hurts couldn’t read a defense either but we all love him because he was a winner. He was eventually able to become everything we hoped he would. He had better support from a coaching standpoint. Regardless of Milroe’s struggles against ATM last year did he not make the plays he needed to win the game? Anyway I am done. We will see how the season plays out.

Like how he handles himself for sure. Good teammate and I don’t believe the rumors of why he was 3rd string AT ALL. I just think there’s zero chance you see the field after those pics the previous week
I think he is the backup................and should Bama get up by some scores in games that arent in danger, or special situations, you MAY see him come back in..............this season is crazy

Sacks aren't always the quarterback's fault. From what I could see, it was mostly the constant blitzing they did. And that's something the coaches need to find an answer for. They did it on Young. Texas did it. Apparently, it's the only way these defenses can win against a Bama offense.

Idk. I still feel like we don't definitively know. But he's definitely better than Buchner and I didn't see enough from Simpson to feel confident in him either.
Oh, I'd agree he is much better than Buchner.............for the time being, I'd imagine its Ty then Milroe...............who knows, next week it might be Milroe coming in and leading the team to victory............glad I havent made any bets this year

I think it’s safe to say that something else is going on with Milroe. Either a concussion protocol or a disciplinary issue or he would have been back in by now.
I kept thinking CNS would put him in the game. You are probably right.
