Auburn played inspired. Alabama didn't. The officials sucked. Alabama won.

Even after National Championship losses I’ve never seen a shot of Bama fans crying in the stands.

Closest one is the 2011 “Game of the Century”. Everyone who watched that game knew Bama was the better team.

I don’t know if it’s fair to say Bama didn’t play inspired. They made the plays they had to. The refs tried to take it from us, but we didn’t let them.

I was wondering the same thing. Will we be " penalized " for a close, hard fought game with a team the week before got manhandled by New Mexico State.

Win the SEC and see what kind of “penalty” is stepped off against ‘Bama. Hint: the minor post-snap “penalty” is New Year’s Eve, the major distance “penalty” is 9-10 days later.

Just keep playing. And that’s what they did - and have done since the Tejas whuppin’ - I said last week after Barn loses by 21 to the Navaho Nation I’d gladly settle for 1/10th point victory today. Got my wish - whatever it takes to just keep playing. And, uh, eyes downfield and still on the prize.
