He slipped back into corner back like he only played there all year. Will likely push for a major role next season.

Remember when coach Bryant use to recruit HS QBs to play DB. Usually the best athletes and smart to boot. Mbakwe did a fine job at QB this year for Clay-Chalkvile. He'll do well as a DB at Bama.

The sport was very different back then. QBs were just the best athlete at a high school. In college they were moved to positions which leveraged their size, speed, strength, etc to maximum benefit.
