Portal is far worse than free agency. Just think of the chaos in the NFL if every time there was a coaching change the whole team became free agents.

What I gather is that many of these blue checks are reading what many on TI are saying. You gotta remember a few things… 1 if it isn’t coming from guys like Rodney or Jess on that site then it’s very questionable because most of the insiders on there have been living off of relationships with Saban’s circles or HS coaches. 2) this is a completely new staff and things are changing with who knows what and how much.

That's fine and I agree wholeheartedly, but these particular two want Coach Saban's guidance and I have a strong feeling CNS will stick around a bit to help them out. We all know Coach Saban's position of choice was DB, that's why these two are taking it the hardest, just calmly make sure they know Coach Saban will still be available to help get them to be the player they want to be.

Yes, it would seem weird to think that Derrick Thomas played for us one year then transferred to UGA. Unbelievable.
