Grades? I think someone said grades.

good luck to Proctor .. atleast he has a understandable reason one can have empathy for
He will be in lot better system for his skill set as well. I don’t think he had the quickness to become an elite tackle in SEC with the speed rushers and spread offense. He is a mauler and Iowa plays that style.

It doesn't happen any more, those days are long gone...
LOL! I guess that there was a reason I couldn`t remember anybody being " academically ineligible " . What was I thinkin`? That would require a player to be an actual student....athlete. Then again, in this day and time, does ANYBODY get grades anymore??

Our graduation rate is pretty high.

so if 50 players transfer out .. u are still limited to 25 schol limit per year?

i guess Downs schol becomes available for next 3 years .. is that right?

Yeah........although these days I`m not exactly sure what that signifies as far as academic achievement is concerned.
I went to college in the 1980s. In my opinion, and I worked in secondary education for many years, what was considered C work back then is A work now. I've seen the poor work of many students. You can't get them to turn in anything on time. I've taught some post secondary, too. Same thing. And then they question why their grade was so low or what can they do to make up work (after grades go out). What work most turn in is not even 50% effort. So glad I'm not in it anymore.
