I don’t know why it caught my attention but I noticed he didn’t say that he struggled at Bama… he said he struggled in the SEC.
I think that was the Tweeters words. He meant what Proctor said happened back when he was struggling in the SEC. Proctor did not mention struggling in the SEC. He only said they contacted him mid season. Or whatever. The Tweeter likely needed a comma.

No, it’s actually what Proctor said in the video. I don’t know that there’s any real significance of it, but that’s what he said.

The video I saw, he talked about how the SEC is the best conference, and how fast paced and strong it is. I haven't seen the other one. He had people asking him questions right and left. So who knows what he meant.

I might have misunderstood what I heard, but my comment was based on watching the video of the interview with Proctor in which Proctor himself made the comment.

Our collective had a 7 figure offer over 2 years to Downs that he verbally accepted. He wanted to stay. His dad after the offer shopped it with OSU to get more. That tells you all you need to know...

Maybe parents, unless asked for advice, should stay out of things. Sounds like Caleb had a BAMA offer he was happy with, and was happy being here. Why not let the kid stay where he's happy instead of shopping him like a piece of meat.
