The next step will be a player like Downs going after NFL for making him stay in college 3 years before he can get drafted. I still can’t believe that has stayed the rule this long.

Right? Individual cases about being physically ready before the 3 year window…

And Whatsamatta is playing the biggest rival- NE Directional. Daddy Warbucks really hates NE and wants a win desperately. And also wants to make a few bucks on the side as well. And because of his prior relationship with a few NE players via the collective….well you get my drift.

Absurd? Probably but not out of the realm of possibility.

I would think it will be Nolan transferring.Sayin is going to be really good. Thing is though on OSU, jealousy will set in eventually. You'll have some players ĝet the slighted attitude, I'm not getting my share. And it will tear a team apart. In the Pros everybody getting paid pretty well so they keep it in check. Not so in college.

We had some of that this year. One of our offensive linemen was benched because he complained about exactly this in a podcast.

I've posted before that he and I were golfing friends at the old nine-hole course. It was the only place he could go to smoke away from Coach. I still have him in my mind's eye, standing over a putt, shaped like a question mark even then, cigarette in the corner of his mouth with smoke curling past his ear... :)
