Mbakwe and Mincey I definitely get. I'm a little surprised by Brown getting this bump though. It's hard to read anything into what happens in an all star game, but Brown did not show me #3 CB ability. Did not look as fast. Maybe he had an off day or miscommunication on who to cover.
I haven't seen any of them play. I do hear they're good though. No clue about Brown. And no clue about those ratings on the meme. I don't always believe memes. LOL

I agree. We'll see how the muffs affects his draft status, if at all. It depends on what a team wants. McKinstry was not always lock down, but he generally had to deal with the best receiver too.
My son told me yesterday that Kool Aid had been downgraded to a 2nd round projection.

I don't know if that's accurate or not, but at the risk of taking slings and arrows from the board, I never viewed him as the all-world player that some people did.

Don't get me wrong, I think he's a very good player, but I was never blown away by him.

And this assessment has nothing to do with his punt-returning issues.

Again, I think he's very good, but not really a great player.

I will go ahead and say it. As of today we are not in the National Championship hunt. Before I get burned at the stake read I said as of today.

We just lost the greatest coach ever, we hired in a good coach, he put together a good staff on paper, he has done the best he can do about transfers outgoing and incoming so far.

As of today, I would only put 3 or 4 teams in the national championship conversation. They have the coaching, staters, depth, and continuity of everything to earn that as of right now.

If we win double digits I will be so excited. If we make it to the playoffs I will be stoked and thrilled. If we win the championship game, I will be in awe and I will be the first to say give Deboer a raise and extension in his first year.

Just wait until we see the Aday game, who is on roster in fall, and how everything comes together in our first few games before we start thinking national title contenders. Saban has built that in to us as a fan base but in reality that is an unheard of expectation everywhere else besides maybe UGA.
You make some good points, but I would still say that we have a top ten roster and a top ten coaching staff. Those two things alone could put us "in the hunt." I don't know if I have ever seen a first year coach win a national title, but I think Gus got close at au and others have won it in their second or third years. I don't EXPECT to win the national title next year, but I don't think I have ever expected to win it. There are some years where it felt like a disappointment due to the team we had, but I still enjoy watching us come together from the little bit we see and hear during spring practice, through fall practice, seeing the team for the first few games, and then watching the development through the season. I never take hoisting a championship trophy for granted, though. I thoroughly enjoy winning SEC and national titles and hope we can continue to compete for them each year.

IF we won the national championship next year we might see mass suicides among our rivals in college football.

I would agree with 2nd round. Although he may pick up some ground in the combine. Some teams obviously forget what they see from game film and get wowed by combine results.

I agree, a very good player, but not elite as his recruiting ranking indicated. My son and I both said (during the season) that his draft stock would drop and apparently, it has.

Wonder how UGA fans will react the most 😂 especially if we beat them in regular season and in a playoff game… one can hope and dream that UGA turns into the barn2.0
Frankly, they have way too much talent. They will win some games but will look way less dominant. They will drop some games next year but I fully expect to see them in the 12 teamer.

Yea some kids get terrible advice from people and think they are going to go higher than they really are. There is also some times kids slide just because of different things but I wouldn’t mind giving players a chance to withdraw all the way up to 24 hours until the draft starts.

Oh I agree but just saying if we were to be the ones who put an L in their loss column will be sweet.
