College basketball has a problem in that several refs are known by casual fans and universally disliked. Shows is one example. TV Teddy would be another.

I watched some of the first half and I didn't see a way for USC to beat AU at home. Of course, that applies to just about every other team in the SEC when playing at Auburn, but I didn't see the kind of talent the other top teams have either.

One was the COVID year and the other arguably Bama’s best team ever. I wasn’t upset with either of those loses. Had we lost this year I’d have been upset with Bruce though lol.

Anytime anyone wants to ignore something unpleasant in 2020, the say "COVID year". Both programs experienced it, Alabama obviously navigated COVID waters, if there were any, better.

You know little about Alabama basketball if you think that team was arguably Alabama's best team ever.

Bama's objective is not you make you upset but to win the game. But in any case, Nate Oats is 2-2 in his last 4 at AU, with an OT loss being the only other game. AU is hardly invincible vs Nate Oats and Alabama there - that was the point.

reduced attendance had a dampening effect on our home court advantage. It was what it was.

Haven’t watched UK much this year other than one other game. They just don’t look well coached. Since I started watching this game in the second half they look like they are a pick up game 5 playing a coached barn team that is playing harder. Hoping UK holds on but man.

Also can we just change thread title to “SEC teams” or something and take out the part about the barn? Don’t want to give them anymore recognition than we have to.
