I honestly haven't been paying much attention to the 25 class, but these On3 guys seem to like this fit.

I love his frame; love a tall QB! Can also easily support adding some weight.

He's more like 6'2 and some change. A good college diet program will beef him up.

As mentioned by previous posters, Russell will eventually become one of if not the top QB in this class. His upside is tremendous. I know some will automatically assume he's a lighter version of Milroe, while there's nothing wrong with that comparison since both are very athletic and come from high caliber Texas programs. But the difference between the two at this stage of their career lies in the fact that Russell has a very live arm, gets rid of the ball quickly, and most importantly fits perfectly in Deboer's offense. This is a huge pick up to say the least.

Thats a fair comparison.

Milroe and hurts were mine given the long strides as a runner. So hard to tackle a guy who runs like that.

Keelon is the #1 dual threat QB on ESPN and #6 in the 247 Composite. Like SJC said, with a strong senior season he could very well be a top 3 or #1 QB of all the QB's. Welcome and RTR Keelon!!

With CKD's rep as a QB developer, I hope he's already more like Penix than JM. That's not a slam on JM, but Penix really was fun to watch. I had my eye on him back when he was at Indiana.

It's not JM's fault totally, but no way a 4th year guy should be having to learn what he's trying to learn now.
