Not so fast. If this ticket gets whacked in 2024, it could signal a change in direction by the Dems who will immediately have their eyes on 2028. Harris and Walz will be painted as full-blown progs and the Dems will have to decide if moving further left is in their best interests or if a subtle slide back to moderate positions will work better for them. This ticket feels like an experiment to me.
If that be so, then it was a enforced one and the most powerful enforcer was Nancy Pelosi. I don't believe that this was a thought-out process. I think it was demanded by Biden's performance of the debate stage...

Op-ED from May 2024:

Democrats’ fight against hate crimes vanishes in the face of antisemitism
by Julian Epstein, opinion contributor - 05/20/24 9:00 AM ET

But now the Democratic Party has an antisemitism problem on its left flank, and its tune has changed a bit. Leftist professional organizers have mobilized student groups and mobs elsewhere to attack, harass and obstruct the free movement of Jews — all of which are crimes.

What would Democrats say if paid organizers incited mobs to attack Black students, impede their movement and publicly demand their repatriation to Africa? What would they say if college professors and their curricula slurred the ancestral heritage of Hispanics? They would rightly be outraged and would insist on maximum legal consequences against the perpetrators.

Numerous progressive groups like the Democratic Socialists of America (which counts among its supporters Democrats in Congress) and local chapters of Black Lives Matter celebrated Hamas’s genocidal attack as an act of liberation. A progressive Columbia professor called the attack “awesome”; one at Cornell was “exhilarated”; a Stanford instructor segregated Jewish students in an apparent slander of Israelis for being imagined “colonizers.” Democrats have largely looked the other way and declined to namecheck any of these bigotries.

Joe "what's my name "Biden, and you think we rigged the election. Come on man!
So Biden isn’t smart enough to remember his own name, but he’s smart enough to rig an election? Look, the evidence is overwhelming that the 2020 election was fair. If it was not, then it is up to Trump’s lawyers to prove in court there were issues. His lawyers tried and failed over 60 times. You should quit making excuses for your criminal candidate.

There is without a doubt some antisemitism on the left(especially in this moment), just as there are democrats who are racist. No party has a monopoly on racism or anti-semitism. But there is a reason there are far more Jewish Democrat Politicians than Republicans.

Most of the LEOs who died committed suicide and two died from having strokes. As I said earlier, the only deaths from violence was the woman, Ashley Babbit, who died by gunshot from an individual who was tasked with protecting the legislatures. Here is a great article that outlines the deaths from that day.
just read through that, all those LEO families had their lives permanently altered because of the January 6th rioters. How sad and even sadder that anyone can support the monster that sent them there

Trump had requested additional security from Pelosi to provide NG assistance. She denied the request. IMO, much of the violence and injury/deaths from J6 are blood on her hands.
