I think you missed my point. When a "girl" is an infant up to the time when they learn to bath themselves, they obviously need help, and yes, that might have to come from a single father. Nothing wrong with that from my perspective. The objective should be to train the girl to do those things for themselves and hopefully, once they reach a level of maturity where they can do so, Dad would no longer be an active participant. In my mind, after a girl is capable of bathing herself, if dad participates, even by being in the shower with her, that is inappropriate and possibly illegal.

I'm not a single father, but I am the father of a daughter. She is now nine and fully capable of bathing herself. At no age and under no circumstance did I need to be naked in a tub or shower with her. That's the real weird stuff. The single dad stuff doesn't hold water at all. It's just not necessary. I've had to deal with bathtime and bedtime on my own many times. At no point was I unclothed with her. The fact she was old enough to remember it like she obviously does means she could bath herself.

so I very grossly went down this rabbit hole a little last night. I say gross because it was. I was reading excerpts of a 20 something diary that was acquired by the ghouls in project Veritas after it was stolen by someone who once claimed to be her friend. Gross.

I didn't read the diary itself but by all accounts there is a single line in the diary that says "showers w/my dad (probably not appropriate)"

was it sexual? She doesn't claim that, she only says "Probably not appropriate"

I tend to agree with her that it isn't but again she says nothing else.

It seems to be more of a cultural acceptance/non-acceptance thing than anyone sexualizing. It may not be a big deal to you or your wife in your household. But behind every door in America exists different cultures that aren't always just about being from another side of the globe compared to another. My wife would absolutely die if I took a bath with my daughter at any stage of her life. It makes my skin crawl to even think about it. Yeah, I bathed my daughter when she was a certain age in infancy to help my wife. But that was me clothed, on the outside of the tub, bathing her while she was in the tub. But for me to sit naked in the tub with her and bathe her, was and is a full no-go in my household.

Children have become a lightning rod issue in this country because they are the next generation and it has never been more obvious that people are trying to move these kids to one side or the other before they're even self-aware enough to understand what the hell these crazy adults are even talking about. On the fringes are one side that is trying as hard as it can to normalize child sexualization and on the other we see more and more people yanking kids out of schools to isolate them from ideas that aren't considered acceptable. The battle lines have been drawn and it's only going to get worse.

Okay, you were including other things. I was just talking about the daughter/dad thing. I didn't see any sexualization going on, just a disagreement on parenting preferences.
