Ive watched a lot of football in72 years, more than most. I don't think I've seen too many quite like yours on Saturday. I'm not looking forward to the Tide coming to Norman nearly as much as I was before. Great ballgame folks.

Ironic to this old Sooner. For the first time in how many years, we have something resembling a defense. Not exactly the'75 Steel Curtain, but kids know where to be and what to do and play hard. Now we can't move the ball well at all. Maybe if I live long enough, the Sooners will do both.

That is the benefit of have a defensive minded head coach. Tell you what. Had Saban been coaching when we got up on UGA 28-0 they would have never made a comeback. But we also never would have been up by 28 in the first quarter. Gotta take what you can get and hope the final score has you up by 1 at 00.
Oklahoma --- you still have the nations longest winning streak--47 consecutive games---not just in the regular season either. Not sure what they were pushing the the Georgia streak and not being consecutive games and multiple losses to Alabama.
I don't think this is correct. Oklahoma already lost to Tennessee this year at home in Norman. 10-3 last year.
He was talking about historical streaks, not current.
Oklahoma does have longest win streak in NCAA history at 47 consecutive wins between October 1953 and November 16, 1957 when they lost Notre Dame 7-0 in Norman, OK.
