The last two times we went into Tennessee as the #1 team, the officials affected the outcome...🙄😖
This is absolutely true. One bad roughing call and the repeat numbers on the field changed this game. That said, it wasn’t the difference. This defense was hot dog excrement. Undisciplined, lack of effort and focus, etc. Can’t even tell you the last time I saw a Bama D play that poorly.

Same thing happened in 2012. We walked it off at LSU. Celebrated that win all week instead of prepping for TAMU. They came in hot and by the time we woke up, it was too late. Still won the natty that year though. So...Chin up.... Ball up top. Roll Tide.
Well said. It may feel like the sky is falling right now, but it's not. It's a bad look for the time being, but if we learn from it and play like we're capable of for the rest of the year, then it can become meaningless.

We beat UGA last week. How in the hell did this happen? We are an 8-4 team right now.
Have you looked at DeBoer's actual results? Not the just the record, but the scores. His team's usually play close games, that's what they do. I think part of it is just the hand he was usually dealt, with talent somewhat lacking but basically his games tend to be close. He can beat anyone, but he can lose to anyone as well.
We're down by 5 in the 4th with 10 minutes left, and instead of utilizing our run game and sustaining a drive to give our exhausted defense some rest, we run the 2 minute/1 minute offense.
The ability to finish teams off just isn't there. Last year with Washington it was almost all close games, always on the brink. Amazing ability to win mind you, but that does put you in a situation where one bad play and you might lose. I'm not sure he has any other gears than to try to get into shootouts. Obviously that needs to change, and I don't think it's just the OC because it's how Washington operated as well.

Somebody told me that we should have "kept it in the family" with Saban's replacement. I disagreed because I watched us chase the Bear from 1983 all the way to when Saban was hired. Keeping it in the family isn't always the best way to go. But .. looking back, I think this coaching hire was rushed. 3 days wasn't enough time. We should have pushed harder for Kiffin. Of course, hindsight being 20/20 and all

Alabama is NOT Washington. I don’t care what CKD has done at his other stops. Bama does not lose to freaking Vanderbilt.

If he can lose to anyone, he needs to go. Let's see. Coaching lost this game, pure and simple, but I put it more on the DC than the HC.
