Don't forget the penalty for throwing the ball once he was beyond the line of scrimmage. That negated a long pass for a first down. He has to stop doing that.

Agreed, but it was 3rd and long and he was not going to pick up the 1st down anyway. Alabama would have punted there anyway.

We are bound to drop a couple of games this season just did not know to whom. I predicted beating Georgia and also beating Tennessee. But I did wonder where the losses would come from. Well, looks like could be any week. We can beat anybody. We lose to anybody. Just going to be inconsistent that way this season unfortunately.

Are woes are mainly defensive. Offense looked great today for the most part, when they had the ball. We only forced VANDY to punt twice all game.

When an opponent took the lead on us under Coach Saban, we saw what would happen on the sideline, holding our player's & coaches accountable in front of a national TV audience chewing them out..

That's is what we're lacking under Coach Deboer

We are playing several freshmen because your team bought our best player and the rest of the SEC bought the rest of our depth. At some point some of y’all need to realize this isn’t exactly a deep and experienced defense. Golding was working with some of the most experienced and talented Alabama defenses in history.

Yes Wommack deserves to take heat for the last 6 quarters but all of this “get rid of the DC or get rid of this guy” after 5 games is far too premature. I’ve seen Kirby give up 540 yards to a Defensive back acting as a quarterback in year 8 at home after seeing him the year prior. Hell the ULM and MSU games in 2007 are two of the most horribly coached games in the last 20 years I’ve seen at Alabama, and Saban and Kirby were on staff. Guess both should have been fired

The Georgia game has took us from realistic preseason expectations to national championship expectations. Did I think Vandy was a losable game? No but I expected 2-3 losses against teams not named Georgia.

It’s year 1, a young team, and a new staff. You can’t bail 5 games in. Otherwise this whole regime could be a failure after year 1. Look at Auburn.

Everything you said is correct, but there is still no way we should ever lose to Vanderbilt.

I just witnessed the worst loss in Alabama history. The defense was completely non-existent today, and the effort was nothing but a total sleepwalk. Total embarrassment today.
