Nah, we should fire everyone and focus on basketball, this season is over.We will get over this.

We all lived through those years. I was at the Southern Miss game where they shut us out on our own field. At least Vandy is an SEC team. Next week will determine how the rest of our season goes.
exactly - it's VANDY. any other team in the SEC you could imagine a slip up against, but VANDY. Sorry, but no. Even the coaches should be running extra sprints for this nonsense.I was listening to the post game show on the radio on my way home from work tonight. I don't know who it was that kept listing excuse after excuse for why we lost the game. It was we lost a 1st round edge and then we lost a 2nd round edge. We lost a lot to the portal. We have all new coaches. It's a different scheme. And on and on....
And I kept replying after each excuse out loud to no one, but it's Vandy!!!
It's not like it was LSU or UT or Texas. Or even arkansas or kentucky or south carolina. It was Vandy. This is a tough loss to swallow. Got our rear ends handed to us.
Honestly you have the pick of 97 LaTech, 99 LaTech, 2000 USM, or 2000 UCF. Then Shula’s loss to Northern Illinois. There literally is nothing worse than Dubose years, the whole 2000 season was the low point of Alabama football. This is probably the best Vandy team in 15 years. We will get over this.
Fair enough. And we may indeed do it again this year. But we’ve got a much deeper hole to dig out of.Just making a point it's what was said last year. But we bounced back and went on to win the SEC. That was my point.
Or ULM in 2007Honestly you have the pick of 97 LaTech, 99 LaTech, 2000 USM, or 2000 UCF. Then Shula’s loss to Northern Illinois.
Heck i still maintain the 2007 Miss St was worse than this.
Dubose sucked. I didn't like him as an assistant, and really didn't like what I knew about him as an HC, but the level of talent we have amassed on the team now so far exceeds anything Dubose ever had, even when he was cheating to try to get them in.There literally is nothing worse than Dubose years, the whole 2000 season was the low point of Alabama football. This is probably the best Vandy team in 15 years. We will get over this.
This is correct. What it does do is eliminate us if we have 3 losses, and I do think the #12 team will have 3 losses. Had we lost to UGA, UT and LSU (where I thought the 3 losses may come) we'd still get in with 3 losses if a 3 loss team was chosen but not now.Exactly. Bama has a strong likelyhood to make the playoffs with a 10-2 record.
This all connects back to Saban and his standard I guess. We've lived that life and now we come crashing back to earth. Sure, we're spoiled. But, when you're used to the best, this is pretty bitter pill. There literally is nothing worse than Dubose years, the whole 2000 season was the low point of Alabama football. This is probably the best Vandy team in 15 years. We will get over this.
The #12 team will almost assuredly be the G5 champ. We were likely out with 3 losses regardless of who we lost to.This is correct. What it does do is eliminate us if we have 3 losses, and I do think the #12 team will have 3 losses. Had we lost to UGA, UT and LSU (where I thought the 3 losses may come) we'd still get in with 3 losses but not now.
But he lost to LaTech… twiceDubose sucked. I didn't like him as an assistant, and really didn't like what I knew about him as an HC, but the level of talent we have amassed on the team now so far exceeds anything Dubose ever had, even when he was cheating to try to get them in.
Even with that disparity in talent, guess what, Dubose NEVER LOST TO VANDY! Not once!
really though LaTech > Vandy. The SEC label only goes so far.But he lost to LaTech… twice
I think it's worse than either of those. The 87 and 03 teams didn't have nearly the talent that this team has (plus that NIU team was pretty good).I'm only 42, but would y'all consider this loss worse than the loss to Memphis St. In 1987 or the NIU loss in 2003?
yup - way worse. it's vandy.I'm only 42, but would y'all consider this loss worse than the loss to Memphis St. In 1987 or the NIU loss in 2003?
Well then get on the Freeze train because Alabama has peaked.really though LaTech > Vandy. The SEC label only goes so far.
