with a struggle win against mercerIt wouldn't shock me if we beat 10RC, then lost to LSU or the Barn.

Its always been there ,coach saban did an awesome job of coaching his last couple of years. How did they regress so quickly
We’ll have to disagree. Of all the boneheaded decisions we made today, this wasn’t even in the top 10.Does not matter - you don't chase points that early. You take any free points that you can get.
all of these same fans thought kicking an onside kick against Vandy was a bad call too. There is a reason they are watching and not coachingWe’ll have to disagree. Of all the boneheaded decisions we made today, this wasn’t even in the top 10.
What do you mean?Any word on Domani Jackson? Woemack is clearly not the answer. He makes Pete Godling look good.

The one we didn’t kick. It was a mistake not to at least try. What onside kick against Vandy?
We kicked deep after scoring. There were arguments on the game thread that kicking deep was the right call. What onside kick against Vandy?
Oh come on now, 9,999 of 10,000 players would score on that play in that situation. Your comment comes with the benefit of knowing what happened afterwards, so easy to criticize and claim what you'd have done with that knowledge in your pocket. Good grief. There's plenty of things coach can, and should, be blamed for but that's not one of them.Yes - more bad coaching
This team, particularly defensively, hasn’t regressed in my opinion. Our deficiencies were always there. Go and look at the 4th down conversion rates going into Vanderbilt. We were NOT stopping drives. Teams were grinding us down with long drives. Then the offense goes out and either scores quickly or doesn’t sustain a drive and that already stressed defense is back on the field. How did they regress so quickly
Yeah, after two sacks in a row, it's time to just take a knee and live to fight another day.The decision to run one more play in 2Q was horrendously bad, even worse than trying to throw from our 12 after a stupid penalty, and would have cost us the game if South Carolina were reasonably competent.
I am still happy with CKD, but the Georgia win was the worst thing to happen to our fanbase and our team. We had/have delusions of grandeur but just gonna struggle through this transition. We need to be honest about that. I just don't ever see our defense knocking someone back, we get drug making tackles.
But the back your players going for points near the half was just stupid.
We should be in the back end of the top 25 right now. 7 is hilarious.I realize we may not deserve to be in however 9-3 and in the top ten will get us in the conversation…if I didn’t say that I meant too. But there will be few undefeated teams some with 2 or three losses
Not so sure we will be in the top ten when the selection is made for the playoffs, especially with a bad loss to Vandy. If we drop two more games, and that is probable, I can't see us in the playoffs. We still have Tennessee, Oklahoma, and LSU coming up. Also, regardless of Auburn's record, they always come ready to play when they face us. Honestly, these future games will be an uphill battle with our defense.I realize we may not deserve to be in however 9-3 and in the top ten will get us in the conversation…if I didn’t say that I meant too. But there will be few undefeated teams some with 2 or three losses
I agree, kinda. The defense was gassed, lost and out-coached. Alabama needed a miracle to win. DeBoer decided to let his players decide it on the field. Even though I knew it would backfire, I understood the decision. The one we didn’t kick. It was a mistake not to at least try.
