Make a change, if they leave, let em walk!

I promise these changes the NCAA made with NIL/TP were made in mind to dismantle a dynasty like Alabama. Nobody plays for pride anymore! How you announce a NIL deal right before a big game like Tennessee??? C’mon son!

I could blame KDB, and while he shoulders much of it, these players are something else. Maybe now we realize why CNS hung it up instantly

I was at Wisconsin and at Vanderbilt. If I had not known, I would have thought a different guy was playing quarterback for Alabama, and he was better against Vandy than the last two games.

As I understand the SEC rule, Alabama is not required to report any specific injury at all. The team just has to report a player who has a physical issue that may make him unavailable.

Given that JM has started and played (as far as I recall) every offensive down since the start of the Georgia game, I doubt the league could say he ought to have been listed at any point, unless he was skipping practices.

Georgia was enough games in we started to show some tendacies on offense. Milroe not good enough or can't figure how to over come what the d is doing to him

My mom just made a good point. Since they are getting paid now, can't they now get fired?
Well they can get fired in the sense of having their scholarship taken away, I don't believe they are 4 year scholarships anymore, rather year to year.

However they can't get fired because they aren't an employee of the University (they aren't technically receiving a paycheck from the University).

Pretty easy to figure this out. The two guys that were wide open weren't Ryan Williams. We better find someone that can throw passes to these receivers or they'll be playing at Texas next year.
Maybe he was throwing to one of them.

I don't think Milroe is hurt but reverting back to what he's always been a great a athlete
trying to play qb. It started when defenses started blitzing him. He's not going through
his progressions like he did early in the season and forcing the ball to Williams.
Defenses have figured out how to stop him from running outside. He trys to use his speed
and doesn't set up blocks. The first goaline series we ran a qb sweep. We had three blockers
out in front of him. If he waits for the blocks and cuts upfield he scores. Instead he runs
past the blockers and gets tackled. He's a great kid and the staff is trying to make
it work with him. But reality is the offense requires a good decision making qb
who makes plays from the pocket.

To even things up, maybe the schools should be able to revoke scholarships anytime the transfer portal is open.
If you put your name in the portal, your current school does not have to take you back, and most schools will not. A lot of kids end their college careers when they enter the portal.

Since they are now professionals, I believe that schools should be allowed to end scholarships at ANY TIME, and without cause. Players are willing to quit on their teams at any time. Level the field a bit.

Based on some of the posts on social media (particularly Caleb Odom) this team will need to come together this week or it will fracture completely. This locker room seems to be heading for problems, if they weren’t already bubbling under the surface.

And for Pete’s sake Coach DeBoer, stop this ridiculously childish end zone celebrations ( spinning the ball and acting like it is a campfire, jump shots by wide receivers, etc) and spoiled brat stuff.
AGREE completely, but there is a dilemma here. $$$ NIL demands TV celebration time in the end zone. Just look at highlights and replays. There is that. Also $$$ pay-to-play hired gun egos want to show off as well and coaches want their players to have fun. It sucks

This is what I meant. It would level the playing field and is fair. Everything is weighted to the players in the current situation. Firing a few players (ending scholarship mid season for non performance or any reason) might make a difference. Needs to be some real consequences.

I now have the strong belief that CKD walked into a much worse deal than anyone is willing to admit. The "cultural" issues have only worsened since 2021 and CNS himself couldn't stop it and left. And I think we have significant talent issues on the D and the OL. Not terrible Auburn level talent, but not NFL all-world guys like many have believed.

My only big beef (and I think Sayin made his own decision and we would have kept him if he was interested) was that in terms of QB needs next year, I'd prefer to have Sayin over Mack... I've always fervently hoped Milroe would finally turn the corner, but it hasn't happend after 4.5 years of practices, private QB training, lots of playing time before last year, and 1.5 years as a starter. We need a new direction next year, and it appears we may be betting on getting a ready to go QB from the portal frankly. We don't seem to have confidence in the three younger guys as of now. And it is the same with Ty, he has practiced a good bit, has a few snaps, but seems to be coming along quite slowly.

Do we know if any big time boosters are invested in Milroe? That could have been pressuring CNS and CKD.

CNS let the culture get out of hand and now CKD has to try and navigate this snake pit.

Wasn't the last interception thrown on a first down play? What about the one in the end zone.

Why would we do anything to facilitate gambling on a college sport. That's really sick and sickening IMO.

Now we've reached the levels of FSU boards and keeping DJU in at starting QB! It's not that bad folks.

Coaches and Boosters are conspiring!

We've been spoiled by first round QB talent the past several years prior to Milroe, so when we have a QB that's pretty much like a usual SEC level QB, we can't take it. For years we ate 2 dollar steak at the QB position, so when we got a taste of the prime ribeye, we didn't want to go back.

Milroe is fast, there's no doubt about that, but he seems to lack the instincts to make him a natural running back. There was a play I saw during the Tennessee game where it looked like he had the blockers leading the way, but, for some reason he kept going laterally instead of cutting up field.

Milroe can also make some amazing throws that make you think "Wow, that was a great throw". But, there's also so many plays during the game that occur that make you think "Wow, what was he doing there. Or, how did he miss that throw?"

Listen, I think Ty should get a shot and I've said this many times, but you can't bench a captain and a guy who just won you a SEC championship and took you to the playoffs, now if the wheels come off next week then it's time to but you can't right now

I saw these posts on SM. I might be wrong, but did we ever have a player under GNS go public like this? I said it after Vandy and some garbage our players posted on line before the game. My question still remains. Has CKD lost this team? We are a train wreck right now.

Ty once liked a tweet about starting him early last year or something. Over 16yrs I’m sure there were other lapses but I can’t name any off the top of my head.
