AWburn be playing like they think they're going to get the #1 draft pick in the NIL draft.

Yet their whole season is made if they were to beat us. That.cannot.happen.
At this point, don't be shocked if the Aubarn staff isn't already preparing for the Iron Bowl. Nothing else matters at this point.

Somebody controlling the sound system at JHS was making a statement with the music selections.
After losing to Vandy, they played
Twisted Sister - "We're Not Gonna Take It"

Subtle.

LOL. They also played Sweet Cherry Pie which is a reference to Freeze's recruiting tactics at Ole Sis and the Barn. TBH, I can't believe they played this particular song with this reference.

In that scenario, Bama would be 3-1 against those teams. That has to count for something right?
Here are the SEC tie-breakers, in the order they will be used:
  • Head-to-head among the tied teams.
  • Record vs. common conference opponents.
  • Record against the highest team in the standings that both teams have played, and failing that proceeding downward through other common opponents.
  • Cumulative conference winning percentage of all conference opponents for each tied team (essentially, schedule strength).
  • “Capped relative scoring margin” vs. all conference opponents. That’s a metric that is derived by comparing the team’s points scored and allowed to the opponents’ average points scored and allowed, per an appendix in the tie-breaking rules.
  • Random draw of the tied teams.

So the SEC office may need to buy some time on a Cray super-computer...

If all favorites win, it's a Georgia-Texas rematch.

Hypothetical upset results assuming all other favorites win:

If Ole Miss knocks off Georgia, it's Texas-Alabama

If Tennessee knocks off Georgia, it's Texas-Tennessee

If Texas A&M knocks off Texas, it's Texas A&M-Georgia

Alabama scenarios, assuming no further losses.

Ole Miss > Georgia
Tennessee > Georgia AND Vandy > Tennessee

There are other bizarro circumstances that could happen, but these seem the most feasible.

Not making the championship game is not the end of playoff hopes.
