I was ok with the Vandy and Tennessee losses, we were competitive. We weren’t competitive tonight.
It really wasn't all that different from the Tennessee game, contrary to what the scoreboard says. We gave them 14 points with the 2 INTs. Other than that, the game was 10:3. And then we had 10 points taken off the board for TDs that were called back. The defense contjnues to bend but not break unless the opposing offense is given a short field, and the offense sputtered again against a really good defense. So it's not all that different from the Tennessee game

When DeBoer is fired after next season we will look back at this as the first sign that the wrong guy was hired. He was brought in for that “innovative offense”. If the QB can’t run it, you don’t throw it out, you pick a different QB.
I think he will get his three years.............but the heat is really hot and he wont have much room for error at all. Firing after 2 years isnt something that encourages other coaches to come
But I honestly dont know what will happen after a couple of years

I always thought he would be a great slot back or WR, but I don't think he likes getting hit. I just watched that pick six again and he just slid under the guy. Looks like he could have made the tackle.
That's not going to endure him to the NFL..........he may take his NIL money and invest it and ride off into the sunset

Well I'm going to have to ask for forgiveness in church tomorrow for hoping Milroe was out for the season after walking off for one play... But I was so hopeful Ty would stay in!
I was hoping to see Ty after that God awful second interception. Debour better be playing 4d chess right now. Use this season to get Ty ready for next season and just playing Milroe to not "upset the apple cart" for this year.

Year 2 of a new staff usually means great improvement. We have to kill LANK before it kills our program.

Put him on a diet and make a linebacker out of him, which is what they should have done in the beginning and we wouldn't be in the mess we're in now.

That's what some feel is happening............get the season done, get the cancer out then get ready for later.......but I want to win the Iron Bowl and the Bowl game and get 10 games

The fans may feel that way, but I highly doubt Greg Byrne is sitting somewhere wondering if he whiffed on the hire. Josh Pate did a segment a few weeks ago after the TN game, basically saying there were some concessions that had to be made in order to hold the roster together and such, and that this is a transition year in every sense of the word, and that Alabama fans really shouldn't be too worried. Greg Byrne knows the circumstances a whole lot better than we do, but if Pate is right, then I'm sure Byrne is fully aware that this is part of the process. I don't see him as an AD that is going to cave to wishy washy fans so easily.

Worst Alabama team in decades. Given the talented players on this team, I am left to wonder what 2025 will look like.
Likely a portal heavy team with the only survivors from this year being the ones that truly want to be here or are the guys Deboer is recruiting in. I fully expect we are getting a quarterback in the portal at this point.

I think Year 3 is probably the year for expectations to be higher than “just make the 12 team playoff”.

KD needs his players to run his offense and defense. This year was always gonna be a transition. But in the losses today and to Vandy what was on the field was pathetic. With as much talent as we have, games like those should never happen. Maybe next few years will be different, but I'm worried.
