What do you think of Bama finishing 9-3?

The record itself is not surprising, but the penalties, inconsistency, and looking terrible for long stretches of game time have been a real disappointment. The meaningless coachspeak when asked any questions at all is going to take some getting used to. I really hope that DeBoer is able to translate his past success into future success, but it seems like as much of a crapshoot as which Alabama team will show up any given day.

I hate to say it but all of this has carried over from last season. Saban was able to manage it a little better as far as record, but this has shown up the past couple of years. I hope we get past it.

I'm happy with it, especially if we make the playoffs. I figured we would finish either 9-3 or 10-2, but I also kind of figured that would be good enough for the playoffs. That remains fo be seen, but I give DeBoer a B+ for this season when you take into account everything he has had to deal with.

I predicted 9-3 with losses to Georgia, LSU, and Tennessee. Honestly, we played about how I thought we would. The roots of what we're seeing started several years ago and -- with the coaching change, roster turnover, lack of cohesive culture -- showed up in a massive way this year. CKD has won everywhere he has been and we need to give him time to build his roster and fully install his offense. This was a make-do transition year.

What do you think about 9-3 season? My preseason prediction was 9-3 with losses to Tennessee, LSU and Oklahoma. Didn’t see Vandy loss or LSU win. Good start for new coach, staff, and players.
Bottom line. 8-2 with such an easy route to the playoffs going against a 5-5 team (who later loses to LSU of all people 37-17 IS UNACCEPTABLE!!! I CANNOT SAY IT ENOUGH.

You tell me what you think about a 9-3 season.

I jokingly told some rival fans we'd go 4-8, but the wins would be against GA, Tenn, LSU, and Auburn... :)
