It is something my wife and I are having to "work"/fight through with our boys. I refuse to let her and my mom turn them into helpless, dependent adults. I can't tell you how many times I say "Stop removing every inconvenience out of their life. Let'em screw up, let them fail. It's good for them."
It’s how they trap us. They raise a man who can’t fend for himself so he needs a wife to take care of him. They are just paying it forward.

My friend dared me to start a fight with a woman, I just started dating. I told him, I'd do it but I have to do something first.

What? He asked.

I have to go unalive John Wicks dog.

Not really a gripe as much as sharing a story from today. I go to one of my accounts and the driveway is blocked by 2 cars but I can still get mine in but parked sideways at the entry.

This is a 2 car circular drive with plenty of room for multiple cars but also has a dumpster in it for some renovation work the owner is doing and cars coming in have to pull all the way up and not bottleneck it, which is essentially what these two drivers did.

The other side of the drive is dirt but wide open. I chose not to park there because I just got new tires and didn't want to risk getting a flat - because there has been construction there with piles of lumber on that section.

So turns out the two cars belong to the cleaning women. As they are finishing up one of them asks if I can move my car. I point to the open side of the driveway and ask if they can just go out that way (after all....it's their fault I parked the way I did).

Then one of them says "Yeah but then I'd have to get back out and re-hook the chain." (there's a chain across the entry).

I replied I would take care of it so I went over and dropped the chain and they proceeded to leave.

So, because she didn't want to have to get out of her vehicle to re-hook the chain - it's 'easier' to get me to move my vehicle.

It's called woman logic. It makes no sense.
