Arkansas is bleeding out with transfers. This has happened for several years now. It's hard to build program with bulks of players keep leaving.
Makes you wonder what’s going on over there. Do the Walton’s prefer basketball over football or something? Or is the coaching staff a pain to work with?

Singleton scheduled to visit the Barn on Wednesday. Matter of fact they have several portal prospects set for visits already. Yellow fellow opening up his pressure treated purse.

That's a line worth highlighting. 😊

Does Bama have any multi-millionaires with as much interest in our program as yella is with his?
Yes (who? i dont know). Our NIL is fine honestly. There is a difference in philosophy from some programs.

Do you say the biggest number and deal with the problems that come with that or do you make fair offers based on the players real value (bama and UGA do the later and still recruit great)

You really have to copy the NFL model IMO. Pay vets and stars what they are worth? Pay high school recruits a fair number but leave room for growth if they exceed expectations (and be certain to reward it)

Not every recruit just jumps at the biggest number. Kelon Russell turned down similar offers that Underwood got specifically so he could play for Kalen Deboer.

While this is true, Bama alumni and deep pocket fans live all over the US.

I wonder if Bama has an organized strategy to seek out donations from recent former players who have become mega rich thru the NFL?
While Michigan has 11 billionaires, the biggest threat is from Larry Ellison , with no ties to the school other than his latest wife. One of Bama’s most notorious boosters had zero ties to the University. It’s not just about Alum, but also the fringe fans . In the past , that was good and bad, but in today’s climate it’s all good. I guess
