If he's drafted as high as some project, he'll be a multi-millionaire within seconds of signing his first deal.

I'm not thrilled with him as our QB, but I am always thrilled for our players when they make more money before they're 25 than I will make in my entire life.

I hope he goes pro and I wish him all the best at the next level.
He’s already a multi-millionaire because NIL has destroyed college football.

Man, I love the fact that you remembered this because they did talk about it quite a bit.
You are right about that - it kind of overshadowed the game itself.

It was a typical Stallings’ Alabama game: Even though Alabama was obviously better, they won a close one. Palmer had a great game.

This might answer some of your questions.
That thread answered no questions. Its all rumor and innuendo
I will respectfully disagree. He may be faster in a straight line, but he doesn't have the instinctiveness and pocket awareness these high level scramblers have. Yes, when there's a hole the size of a truck and he's able to run fast, he's good. But, give him some obstacles and chaos, then you start seeing the cracks. I wish him all the best in the NFL, but I don't see how he becomes an elite NFL scrambler.
That's perfectly fine, it is subjective after all.

But there's a disconnect with the conversation

There's a difference in being a first round top 5 qb and being successful in the NFL. Im not saying milroe will have lamara Jacksons success, but he is drawing those comparisons from scouts and GMs.

He is mostly likley a first round pick, possibly a top 10 or 15 pick and I can't stress how weak a draft it is this year, and those picks have to be made by someone and enough teams have to take qbs and milroe would be an upgrade even for teams like the jets where he may be able to sit for a year or the rams or teams with aging guys who may need to start looking at the future.

I'm curious to see him make it on an NFL roster and act like we've seen him act....and see how long that's allowed to last. He's gonna have to have an attitude change in the pros.

Guys, let's not go back down the rabbit hole of arguing over whether the "LANK" fiasco was real or make-believe. At this point, people believe what they're going to believe regardless. We have people with sources connected directly to the locker room who have disclosed what they've been told. You either believe them or you don't. But they/we will not, under any circumstance, reveal sources for overly obvious reasons. Let's move on...

No matter how I answer, you’re gonna ask for proof. All I can say is it’s true.
I’m not trying to be difficult. I’m not necessarily asking for names and times just something from someone credible who was told by a couple of coaches or maybe has a son on the team who knows a lot of players well and has access. But more than just knowing a player or two to whom it “seems like something funny is going on”. Just want something concrete.

I’m not asking for video or a tape recording but more than just “adding two plus two” to some astute observations. If it were something less serious some speculation might be fine but when someone’s reputation is at stake IMO, it’s not unreasonable to demand something concrete. I’ve seen reputations destroyed by speculation that seemed plausible, even probable, but was simply not true.

I should probably drop it since it’s not my responsibility. I’m probably interfering, I just hate to see a young man who has publicly stated that being the QB at Alabama means so much to him and has worked so hard, to be held in such contempt by a significant segment of the fandom, unless we know its true. Even then it would be so sad.

Anyway thanks for answering.

Read Buzzards post right above yours. The only thing to add to what he said is that it was multiple sources direct from the locker room.

For anyone wondering…

1st Team - Dart
2nd Team - Ewers
3rd Team - Sellers

Dart and Ewers were definitely better QBs

I didn’t watch a ton of Sellers but getting ‘snubbed’ for a Fr at USCe has gotta sting that ego.

Ouch
You don’t have to watch a ton of Sellers to understand. Told both my sons he was gonna be a problem for A LOT of DC’s for at least 2 more years. Expect he’ll be early entry if he stays healthy.

I do not look forward to Bama going to USCe and facing them and Sellers. Hopefully our guys will be ready
