My view...
  • BYU / Colorado should be a good game. Most players are playing.
  • Iowa St / Miami FL may also be good to watch.
  • Boston College / Nebraska may not be a good game but at least is two traditionally decent teams ... playing for pride.
  • I'll watch the Army / La Tech because I try to always watch academies play.

The others are meh IMHO, but I'll have them on the tube :D

UNC is truly awful. Losing 17-7 to UCONN, their td was a punt return. Otherwise, the Huskies haves outgained them 192 yards to 0.

I have no idea how many opt outs UNC has had though. Mack Brown basically ran that program into the ground it seems.
But they would’ve won if Colt McCoy would’ve played.

By the way, to show you how things are changing at least for the better, my brother and his oldest were supposed to go to the 2021 Fenway bowl, and a Covid outbreak wound up canceling the game, which was their Christmas present that year.

They’re going to have a father and son day together, but also I think for a little bit of closure on that issue.

I’m not going to lie, it would be interesting to be in that stadium watching a football game.
I tell folks that it is an experience that you need to have most notably for baseball, but remember that the stadium was built in 1912 and is largely a dump. Everyone should go because it has such charm, but remember that a number of the seats are blocked by obstructions and many of them are pointing in the wrong direction.

Bizarrely, those seats pointed in the wrong direction actually works better for football because of the different design of the field.

I agree with you on going though and that’s part of why they went. I also think everybody should spend one game at the Harvard Stadium built in 1903. Realizing that the Kennedy Brothers and Tommy Lee Jones among other people played on that field and the fact it has that old Roman field to it is truly awesome. You don’t go for the game, you go for the experience.

(Naturally, the game I attended there went three overtimes).

The Pinstripe Bowl is somewhat competitive. Nebraska is playing hard. Of course they haven't been in a bowl game in 20 years or something like that so they're happy to be there. And if you like SEC officiating, this game has the SEC Cajun Krewe. :D
I attended the Nebraska versus Colorado game in Lincoln this year, something. I also recommend to everyone.

I hate Nebraska, and I’ll admit they fooled me: I thought they would at least contend for a nine win season this year. They dominated Colorado in that game.

Nebraska scores to go up 13-0. XP is blocked and returned by BC for 2 points. 13-2, Nebraska leads, 3:39 to go, first half. The field at the Pinstripe Bowl is a mess. The field graphics have been half washed out.

It was Boston in November and the sun went down while we were there, so it was getting kind of cold. And then the team that should’ve won in reregulation wound up winning in three overtime, which mostly just frustrates a person.
