Reminds me of Bill Curry when he was starting Jeff Dunn at QB. Curry said something about Dunn being “tough with a LB mentality” .Blind loyalty is dumb
I was like “uhhh most times a QB needs a QB mentality because, well, they are playing QB”.

Yes, and imagine where he would be if he had the last 2 years’ worth of starts under his belt.We have seen Ty play in real games. He is a much better QB than Milroe.
He's on a short leash to be sure...we should have won this game by 3 touch downs. Think of all the energy I'll save...I left after 3 turnovers and went to hit golf balls.if I wasn’t an Alabama fan, it would for me as well. Instead, I’ll spend the next 8 months questioning him because I don’t trust him as a HC. I wanted to.
Yep, I remember the Ole Miss preview. Jess made it clear he thought Ty was getting the start. Then of course, Milroe started the game and threw another INT in the end zone and STILL came back out. I lost all my respect for Saban at that point.I remember everyone including Jess saying that Ty would be starting going forward, then flabbergasted when Milroe started the next week. That was the beginning of the end. Hell of a ride the last 15yrs though. Hell of a ride.
Not this again, I kind of dug myself in a hole when I bit on speculation the last time.
If the QB isn't capable of making the play, it's not a good play unless you draw up something that can be executed. I said the same thing during Hurts time at Alabama, you don't get bonus points for drawing up a play that the QB can't execute and for the record the defense knows this as well. You do this in basketball, you don't care if a guy who can't shoot is open, you dare them to make the play, you sucker them into that choice. For everyone blaming Sheridan… he got Bernard 15 yards open all day but it’s a shame he wasn’t the one throwing him the ball.
Brian Burgdorf could have had money on Michigan and won that game.i think brandon avalos could have won that game for us
In the NFL in 2025Yes, and imagine where he would be if he had the last 2 years’ worth of starts under his belt.
Germie Bernard is a star, I hope he comes back. I love this kid. You could see the frustration though late in the game. For everyone blaming Sheridan… he got Bernard 15 yards open all day but it’s a shame he wasn’t the one throwing him the ball.
Just say no.Rick Neuheisel at half of the Washington-Louisville Sun Bowl game said he thinks JM’s erratic play over the course of the season will make him rethink any idea of going to the NFL. He thinks he is coming back. To Alabama!? He didn’t say.
wait, really? Are you Ty Simpsons dad?Yep, I remember the Ole Miss preview. Jess made it clear he thought Ty was getting the start. Then of course, Milroe started the game and threw another INT in the end zone and STILL came back out. I lost all my respect for Saban at that point.
And that my friends, puts the final nail in my coffin of caring for bama football until he’s gone.
For the first 5 games he had 11 passing TDs and 3 picksTake away the UGA game and what do you have? The same ol’ Milroe. The conclusion can only be that the UGA game was a fluke.
No he aint…and i agree with him100%wait, really? Are you Ty Simpsons dad?
If he wants to own it he can own it. I will give him a partial mulligan this season but my bet is that he won’t be the coach here in 3yrs if that is seriously his approach to coaching.Well that press statement says it all.
CKD is either a liar and spouting bull crap coach speak, or he is inept and has no clue.
He will get drafted because NFL GMs and coaches are desperate egotists. He will probably do very well in the combine in relation to speed and strength etc. He's always kept his nose clean and he's not a head case. NFL teams like that so I'm sure someone will think they can develop him. With that said, he certainly cannot read the field process the defense quickly. He might be a third rounder.
The problem is that Milroe is the quarterback. He is Derrick Henry trying to throw the ball. Not this again, I kind of dug myself in a hole when I bit on speculation the last time.
All I can say is I question some of his choices...
Milroe is making things way too easy for him as of right now, if there's no Milroe and Alabama isn't a juggernaut then people have no one else to blame.

He didn’t see a pathetic trip attempt in the Oklahoma game either. He never would have played another down for me if I saw that crap.He apparently didn’t see turnovers, unnecessary sacks and open, empty handed receivers.
