Bama Game Thread: Official Postgame Thread - Reliaquest Bowl, Bama vs. Michigan, Dec. 31, 11:00 AM, ESPN...

  • HELLO AGAIN, Guest! We are back, live! We're still doing some troubleshooting and maintenance to fix a few remaining issues but everything looks stable now (except front page which we're working on over next day or two)

Thanks for your patience and support! MUCH appreciated! --Brett (BamaNation)

if you see any problems - please post them in the Troubleshooting board!

He will declare then fall in the draft, then if he goes undrafted sue to play another season in college football.
He will probably do very well in the combine in relation to speed and strength etc. He's always kept his nose clean and he's not a head case. NFL teams like that so I'm sure someone will think they can develop him. With that said, he certainly cannot read the field process the defense quickly. He might be a third rounder.

if I wasn’t an Alabama fan, it would for me as well. Instead, I’ll spend the next 8 months questioning him because I don’t trust him as a HC. I wanted to.
He's on a short leash to be sure...we should have won this game by 3 touch downs. Think of all the energy I'll save...I left after 3 turnovers and went to hit golf balls.

I remember everyone including Jess saying that Ty would be starting going forward, then flabbergasted when Milroe started the next week. That was the beginning of the end. Hell of a ride the last 15yrs though. Hell of a ride.
Yep, I remember the Ole Miss preview. Jess made it clear he thought Ty was getting the start. Then of course, Milroe started the game and threw another INT in the end zone and STILL came back out. I lost all my respect for Saban at that point.

Not this again, I kind of dug myself in a hole when I bit on speculation the last time.

All I can say is I question some of his choices...

Milroe is making things way too easy for him as of right now, if there's no Milroe and Alabama isn't a juggernaut then people have no one else to blame.

For everyone blaming Sheridan… he got Bernard 15 yards open all day but it’s a shame he wasn’t the one throwing him the ball.
If the QB isn't capable of making the play, it's not a good play unless you draw up something that can be executed. I said the same thing during Hurts time at Alabama, you don't get bonus points for drawing up a play that the QB can't execute and for the record the defense knows this as well. You do this in basketball, you don't care if a guy who can't shoot is open, you dare them to make the play, you sucker them into that choice.

Rick Neuheisel at half of the Washington-Louisville Sun Bowl game said he thinks JM’s erratic play over the course of the season will make him rethink any idea of going to the NFL. He thinks he is coming back. To Alabama!? He didn’t say.

Just say no.

Well that press statement says it all.
CKD is either a liar and spouting bull crap coach speak, or he is inept and has no clue.
If he wants to own it he can own it. I will give him a partial mulligan this season but my bet is that he won’t be the coach here in 3yrs if that is seriously his approach to coaching.

He will get drafted because NFL GMs and coaches are desperate egotists.

The problem is that Milroe is the quarterback. He is Derrick Henry trying to throw the ball.
