Don’t use that word “Soft!”
There’s some here who’ll crucify you!
Well thankfully I’m not soft so I can take the heat.

I’ve been getting roasted all month for saying we weren’t a playoff team.

I’m fine with criticisms of my criticism.

I want our team to be the best like everyone else but I’ll still call it like I see it.

I just have a HORRIBLE taste in my mouth after that game. It was one thing when Michigan got us last year. That was in the semifinals. But this was a nothing bowl game against a 5 loss Michigan who is a far cry from their national championship team last year. They've beaten us and our head coach two years in a row. There need to be consequences for this like tomorrow

. But I think today proves that Alabama was really the team that went 5-4 after the Georgia game, not the one that had gone 4-0 through the Georgia game.
That’s basically what I was trying to get across when everyone was saying ‘but look at these metrics and SOS’

The eye test said those metrics didn’t mean a thing.

SOS goes out the window when you lose to 2 teams with 5 losses and look that bad.

Sorry… that’s lose to THREE teams with 5 losses.

Yeah I owe you an apology too. I was wrong.

if I am an offensive player on this team and Milroe comes back, I hit the portal faster than you can say NIL
As I said earlier, this was a chance to show players on this team what the future looks like offensively under him. Yeah, give Milroe is swan song, but the majority of this game should have been in the hands of Mack or Simpson.

There have been 12 games to show what CKD offense “isn’t” under Milroe. Today should have been “turn the page”.

And CKD chose not to do that. And it absolutely disgusts me.

I just had somebody text me and remind me that Saban went 7-6 and lost to UL-Monroe in his first season. I would forget that if I wasn't reminded every few days, LOL. I replied "so I can take that to mean that Deboer going 9-4 means we will make the SEC championship game next year but lose close and finish with 12 wins and in 2026, we will win it all, the first of several national championships under Deboer, and our stud running back will win the Heisman?" 😂

We all were.
Yeah same.

I did think he had turned a corner in the 1st half of the UGA game.

He had a couple perfect throws vs Wisc the week before too so there were signs of hope.

But it turned out to be some luck mixed with heavily scripted drives.

I think we all tried to hope for him turning a corner.

But around the Tenn and Mizz games it became so clear he was regressing badly.

I think he lost whatever mental confidence he had too because the amount of turnovers in the 2nd half of the season were just unacceptable.

Well, with some luck next year will be different...........I know the QBs on the roster can throw better and I have no doubt they can run more than 4 plays. Need an OC who can exploit that
I think the dissatisfaction from the wide receivers really showed up today. There was a lot of head shaking etc after they kept running wide open and no football comes their way. Even Jess said in his write-up that Germie Bernard could have had a career day if Milroe could have just gotten the ball to him a few times. He was running open all day. There must be a change.
