According to WMC channel 5 in Memphis, surveillance footage captured three men and one woman placing IED‘s in the French Quarter.

And that is why your game has been postponed.

If I were there, I would be trying to get my money back and headed home. no game is worth my life

The playoff picture would be thrown into total chaos if this game were cancelled. Georgia and Notre Dame's seasons would effectively end. There would be no Orange Bowl semifinal. Penn State would advance to the championship game by default. But then the other teams that are in the Cotton Bowl semifinal would have to play an extra game that Penn State wouldn't have to. I don't know what they'd do to sort that out

The game was always going to be played, somewhere.

I hate terrorists. They are cowards. I hate that they get even this small win.

I hope you are correct because these was zero chance of me staying up until 1am tonight. Playing this game so late was idiotic. People have to work tomorrow
There have always been big games that ended late when people had to work the next day.

I live in New Orleans so here's an update. Sugar Bowl will be tomorrow, but at 3pm CST instead of 7:45pm.
The stanchions that normally block Bourbon St and prevent any traffic from getting on the street had been removed for repair. (probably painting them up pretty for the Super Bowl in a month). There was a police vehicle blocking the street, but the nutball drove around it on the sidewalk to gain access to Bourbon Street. He got a couple of blocks down the street before crashing, wounding two police officers, then being killed. He had an Isis flag in the truck.

Police etc did sweep Bourbon Street and found a couple of "items" that were detonated on site. They have not said what they found, just that they found a couple of suspicious items that were detonated by bomb disposal units.

An airbnb that was apparently rented by the nut was also set on fire. Don't know if they found anything there. So far, 15 people have been killed, 25 or so injured.

Just total craziness.
