Then the portal route makes perfect sense. My guess is he knew UGA wouldn’t have the horses at receiver to help him so he wants to look for a spot with a good set of receivers to throw to because he had nothing to throw to this year.

If that’s the case Bama should be high in his list of schools to at least visit. And no I do not want Beck he is too much of a turnover machine for me personally but Bama will have one of the best set of receivers next year just need a QB that will utilize them to their maximum potential.

Surprised me at first, but makes sense.

In his long term interest, he ought to transfer to a pass happy team where he could put up huge numbers next year to show he's better and improved.

Georgia's offense struggled all year and he went thru a time when he was throwing more INTs than TDs. He probably got to pressing.

Come to Bama? IMO, "No." If we take anybody that thinks/others think we'll come in a start, TS is gone this year. KR would probably be OK with that if it's a quality guy he could learn from.

IF Beck really transfers, he will probably want to be PROMISED he's the day 1 starter. I don't want to see Bama go down that road again.

In my opinion, Beck thrived because UGA had an elite defense last year. They had a good defense this year but not elite. When he wasn’t trying to force things he’s a pretty good passer. He would have had better stats if his receivers wouldn’t have lead the league maybe even nation in drops. I don’t like that Beck turns the ball over too much especially this year, but Beck has experience and if the coaching staff thinks we need a qb like Beck then if we lose TS that’s a trade off I would be happy to take. I wish we would have seen more from TS this year especially when milroe struggled in the loses, but you don’t know what we have in TS. Like I have said I do not want Beck because I think he is too turnover prone, but if coaches were to go after him it would be an improvement in the qb department from last year.
