There should be a rule that the TV timeout is only 1 minute if there was a full
Timeout taken within the last four minutes of game time. These long breaks are nuts

Finally got it up. Went to app and no show. Then saw it was on ESPNN. 3 minutes into game. Unacceptable stupidity by ESPN. I cant even imagine talking my 82 yr old mom through the process.

Best method I’ve found is to select the game being played 2-3 mins before our tip time. If you check the bottom right it should have a box that shows the channel you need to flip to. Usually espn news or espn3. Then I go to browse and find that channel. This is where they should steamline the app. Allow you to select the game you want to watch 2 mins before time and reroute to the appropriate channel.

Yea you would think at a minimum we could get an announcement to flip the channel.

Why would they do that? The idea is to make money and putting another game on ESPN news means they are getting more views on that channel then they would be getting on their normal coverage on that channel. Right now they do 12,2,4,6,8,10 that gets them 6 games on the day. If they go to 12, 2:30,5, 7:30, 10 they get just 5 games. They want to show as many games as they can and people having to just watch on another of their channels makes them more money.

They know exactly what they’re doing. It’s all about money not fan experience

Like Wednesday’s game, I started watching about three minutes into the second half. I was encouraged to see what appeared to be better defensive intensity and more effective drives to the basket and I hope that continues to improve.

One thing I’ll say that remains true of our defensive effort… our worst defensive lineup is when we have Holloway, Nelson, and Sears on the court at the same time. In spurts, all three can play good D, but it’s not sustained.

Loved the defensive effort we gave in the second half. I was worried when we came out and gave up another big lead at the beginning of the game.

We really needed to see those 3's falling for us. Philon has GOT TO stop being so loose with the ball every time he drives. He looks so hesitant compared to the first half of the season. Hoping he'll get out of his freshman TO slump soon, we need him playing well these last 4 games. Might be the toughest 4 game stretch we've ever had.

Glad to see Oats pulling people now because of a lack of defense and effort and telling them he's going to do that. Still saw things that just cannot happen at this level. Direct drives all the way to the rim from the top of the key with no help defense, getting beat down the court on defense and watching them lay it in. But it did get better over the course of the game Saturday. Oats said he should have been holding them more accountable, and now he's going to moving forward with playing time. Which that's good but he really shouldn't be having to do that with a team with this many older players. But things aren't like they used to be. If this group can consistently buy in and play defense with more intensity, we should be able to make some noise.

No doubt physical stature has something to do with it... but that's becoming more the norm in today's game. Going forward, unless this trio is lighting up the scoreboard, they shouldn't be on the court at the same time with each other.
