you don't have to accept. Recently there have been some that choose not to go. Would rather spend the moment with the whole family.
I guess it depends on what you want out of the experience.
Sure it would be great to be with family when that call comes.
If my skill set was questionable and I wanted to put the best foot forward in my new relationship with a pro franchise, I would do anything not illegal, immoral, or unsafe to get that relationship off to the best possible start.

Yep, he's being used as an entertainment pawn to generate talking points for the night/weekend. I honestly can't believe Jalen accepted.
