I don't see us taking a PG unless Philon leaves. We gotta replace Stevenson now. Ideally, that settlement would go through, so we can have 2 more scholarships, but there's no telling how long that will take.
I think we have already replaced Stevenson since I don't think this was a surprise at all. Keeping Reid and getting a PG is a priority but may be wrong.

You think we still need one, even if Philon and Aden both return? We'd have to find someone willing to come sit behind those guys, so that may limit our options.

Aden plays the two almost exclusively or at least he did this past season. We need a pg more than a big even if Reid goes too. Although people online are saying he’s staying

I was under the assumption that was just because of our personnel, but after some digging, It appears he has always projected as more of a combo guard than point guard, so idk why 247 had him listed as a PG. So with Aden playing the 2, we would ideally grab one of these taller PGs so that they can be on the court at the same time against longer teams. The Princeton guy seems to be the ideal choice, but I'm sure he will be expensive.

I saw that it is reported JT Toppin from Texas Tech was deciding to go To NBA draft, transfer, or stay at Texas Tech. He wanted mid level 1st round money and apparently Texas Tech is going to give him 4 million dollars to stay at Texas Tech. That a lot of oil money for sure.

I like Murphy from Mississippi State. He isn’t a huge offensive threat but you need some guys that will do the hard hat work and has proven himself to be up to competition in SeC. He averaged 11 points a game and almost 8 rebounds and is long 6”10 forward. I see him as Mo D type but with more size. Both do struggle with their shot from outside though.

He had 18 points 11 boards and 18 points and 6 boards vs us.

He had 18 points 13 boards vs Florida.
He had 12+ points in 13 of the 18 SEC games and 7+ boards in 12 of the 18 games.
