I’m more with you but I’m iffy on Griffen mostly because he had a poor season whether it was fit or not he just didn’t play well. A little because it’s annoying he left and that it’s killing the fun and rooting for players.

I would be more for Eaglestaff if he was a facilitator but it doesn’t seem like it so he is more take or leave. With that said I’ll take both vs not getting anyone. Just seems like we really need a facilitator.
FWIW, Rylan did show flashes at times this season, of what he was at Bama. He hit a clutch 3 against Arkansas with 10 seconds to go, to make it a 3 point game, so the clutch factor still seems to be there. He probably wouldn't have been my first choice a few weeks ago, but I think we are in need of a 3 and D wing, so he can fill that role, at least. Maybe this past season was just a bad fit for him. I'm not gonna be too upset at him for leaving, because I don't really know if it was his choice or not. We had to cut like 4 players to keep everyone we wanted, so some of the departures likely weren't their decision. Who knows which category Rylan falls under, but I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt.

Agreed on the facilitator. I'd go so far as to say we probably need 2 facilitators, but at this point, I would settle for 1.

Bama is the supposed leader for Cedric Coward of Washington State. This would be a pretty good get, i think. He is a very good shooter, and seems pretty capable defensively, as well. This must mean the Griffen rumors aren't true.

That was his only basket and if I remember right he had a bad play or two leading up to that. If coach asked him to move on then it doesn’t make sense to want him back other than desperation. Hard to give these guys benefit of doubt now but either way it’s transfer at will is ruining the game.

I agree we need two but hoping for at least one.

Did Cedric Coward have a season ending injury? If I see that right he only played 6 games. That would make three coming of injury which is scary.

Just now noticed that. Looks like he had a partially torn labrum, and a "jagged rotator cuff". I'm no expert, but that kind of injury doesn't sound ideal for a shooter. It's definitely scary, but I trust coach.

I doubt we have the money to get him but PJ Haggerty entered the portal. You want a replacement for Sears scoring there it is. He is a bucket machine at the point guard spot and 6”3. He is more of a slasher type scorer then guy that takes a bunch of 3 pointers though.

It’s being reported that Sam Walters is headed to Ms State. It seems that most all of last year’s transfers are on the road again.
I liked Walters and wish that he had stuck with us. I think he's an example of someone that hurt his own stock by leaving. May has done a very good job at Michigan but, unless he was injured, it seemed that Walters did better in CNO's system that he did at UM.

He had a back injury for a good bit of the season.
