Sometimes I wonder what the government is actually good for, other than spending stupendous amounts of money on, well, who knows what...

So, someone in the Biden administration screwed by supressing the information (why?), and then someone in the Trump administration screwed up by not calling it out (we know why--God forbid we should do anything that could suggest that we need a functioning FDA).

Not trying to 'both sides' this, but goodness - what a complete failure.

Eh, I don't think this one qualifies as a both sides, given that the errors are almost polar opposites.

And the thing is, the FDA usually does identify the source --they have to in order to recall the product. I can't imagine why they wouldn't in this case--apart from a large sum of money changing hands.

Hell, if restaurants have to post their health department scores, why shouldn't food producers do something similar?
