Sorry, but this was my first panicked thought when I saw he'd been brought back as 3rd base coach. Nightmare fuel.

Final

W: Warren (1-0)
L: Grant Holmes (4-7, 3.70 ERA)

Braves only had 3 hits. Mets had 9.

Top 4 of Braves order: 2 for 15. Ain't gonna get it done.

Holmes went 5, allowed 6 hits, 2 ER, 3BB, & had 6 Ks. Not terrible. Needs help from the hitters.

Holmes threw 97 pitches (58 strikes) in those 5 innings. Weather was much nicer today (69 & cloudy & slight breeze).

No time to pout because we have the Philies coming to ATL for the weekend.

Mets are 0.5 games back in front of Phillies who lost 3 in a row Houston. Braves are 10 back.

We missed a great opportunity with the Phillies getting swept.

The bats aren't good/consistent enough.
