All Kimmel had to do was be a decent human being and acknowledge this for the tragedy it was. Instead he spread misinformation about the shooter being MAGA when it’s already been proven he was on the left. Right wingers don’t consider themselves fascsists and certainly wouldn’t consider Charlie Kirk one. And it’s not a 1st amendment thing…it’s not like he’s going to prison. Okay if the FCC is threatening fines against Kimmel and any station that airs Kimmel… is it really Nexstar’s decision anymore to protect Kimmel?

I think the right gets it wrong… authoritarians don’t first come for the guns. They come for the free press. They discredit them, then say they are a stain on society, then they remodel them in their image.

This issue came up under the early Biden Administration when Biden Admin officials told platforms to either censor "bad" speech or face greater oversight and regulation.
It is wrong whether the person censoring speech has a R or a D beside his name.

The First Amendment allows decent individuals to decide what they want to watch and listen to. Were these individuals forced to watch ABC?
However, what you are saying is that you want the government to censor broadcasters. That has nothing to do with the previous Administration. It sounds like you want to live in a totalitarian society where Big Brother decides what you are allowed to watch.
