Well I mean in Wommack's defense he had no idea Vanderbilt was going to do something like that. Why would he? Not like he got dominated by something like that by the same exact team last year or anything. Just normal third and 10 type of play you should expect to get beat on.
We were 92nd in the country in run defense coming into the game.

It was an awful series because we tried to pass on 1st down inside our 15 and come up to 2nd and 20 instead of running and having a 2nd and single number to gain. All that has led to Vandy’s scoring opportunity
We are just not a good defensive team. We play a soft zone, take poor angles and don’t tackle well..
Hey, you shouldn't be so hard on this DC. He's trying to learn how to coach in the SEC. Can't be easy. Besides, the defense is only giving up 13.9 per rush this game.
You find a play that works once against Kane and buddy you got a play for life
They know our defense can't stop them. Thats what bothers me. We literally can't stop them.
