The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly… Pavia style:

  • HELLO AGAIN, Guest! We are back, live! We're still doing some troubleshooting and maintenance to fix a few remaining issues but everything looks stable now (except front page which we're working on over next day or two)

Thanks for your patience and support! MUCH appreciated! --Brett (BamaNation)

if you see any problems - please post them in the Troubleshooting board!

The Good: Not having to watch Pavia jump around, whooping and hollering because they beat BAMA. I really love that the longer the game went, the more he was running for his life.

The Bad: Ty thru his first pick when we probably should have run the ball on that early 4th and 1. A TD on our opening drive, and Vandy has to play catch up.

The Ugly: We still haven't figured out that Vandy likes the shovel pass.

Good - I love Bryant-Denny on a fall afternoon, crowd was great. Jam is
getting in playing shape. D in the 2nd half

Bad - Pavia and Manzell bromance, kickers,
refs. Someone borrowed some beer and a cooler from our tailgate during the game. Hopefully, they’ll bring the cooler back next game. Hope no one choked. 😬

Ugly - auburn

The Ugly: Would somebody please tell the Student body that NOBODY cares about "LNK" fingers on TV Coverage anymore. That is one fad we should all be glad to see fade away from our memories.
To quote an old SNL Bit "Because I'm a Grumpy OLD MAN!" 😜

I said the same thing. I guess that makes me a grumpy old woman. 😆

Good- offense

Bad- defense most of the game. Our linebackers and defensive backs play soft and do not cover well.

Ugly- defensive coaches

With all due respect, I just can’t bring myself to say anything bad about the defense this time around.

Allowed 14 points to one of the best offenses in the country. In this day and age that’s a win. No matter how it gets done.

Let’s keep it going. Roll Tide

And a weird offense with plays you don't see much these days.

We're holding opponents below what other teams are 8695% of the time. If you remember the Wisconsin game, defense only allowed 7 which would change that 2 to a 0. We've only failed to hold opponent's to their season low one time in a loss.

I wonder how close Manziel was with the team during the week prior to the game. And was he on the sideline and in the locker room during the game? Seems like he's about the last person you want influencing your players in such a critical game...or basically anytime for that matter.

The tragedy with Manziel is, he was a very talented player. If only his parents had raised him right and he wasn’t such a complete douche, he might still be playing in the NFL and he might actually be worth looking up to. But none of that happened and all he has is hanging around college programs reliving his two glory seasons.

He could have been as good as Mahomes. He had 2 problems. One was Cleveland drafted him. Two was his personality.

I actually liked him even when he was causing us headaches because he really seemed to just love playing the game and I was hoping he'd be successful in the NFL.

That said, and I hope I'm wrong, he's the kind of guy that it wouldn't surprise me if we wake up one day and find out he died from a drug overdose or something.

Seems like he's the last person you'd want around your program.

If you only count the last 4 games, the defense has averaged giving up 12.2 points per game. That includes the ULM shutout.
