Is USCe a trap game? How do we match up?

That's a great point. We have a QB who doesn't appear overly confident at times, only to jump over his own skis and try something dumb. Bryce Young could pull it off. Milroe was about 50% on dumb risk: he'd win some, lose some. I have so much confidence in the decision making at QB this season that no one seems unbeatable to me.

However, at Columbia, SC, we'll need to navigate the crazy noise, the night time heeby jeebies that other teams get playing there. This game is full of risk for Alabama. Win it, hardly anyone notices. Lose it, it wrecks the season. We have no margin for error.

South Carolina will be healthier along the OL than they were vs LSU and Sellers is a QB who is hard to take down. Beating us would make their season at this point. The game is on the road. Definitely feels like a trap game.

However, they aren't an amazing rushing offense which has given us the most issues. I think there is a good shot we have a very frustrating first half. Maybe a very frustrating 3 quarters. But I think with our offense we should still be able to close this one out in the 4th.

Yes, this is the classic trap game.

All we've done up to now gets washed away like a sand castle if we lose Saturday.
 
Make no mistakes about it, South Carolina is putting all their eggs in this basket (game). The seat grows hotter by the day for Beamer and he needs a win badly to try to salvage their season. Sellers was preseason favorite to win the heisman and has looked pedestrian. He is the prototypical QB we have struggled with and add in we are on the road, this game scares me. Offensively I see us being in a good spot but this game has 2024 Vandy written on it if our defense doesn't lock in and come ready to play. Hopefully our guys have gotten the memo, NOBODY IS SCARED OF YOU AND YOU WILL HAVE TO EARN EVERYTHING YOU GET. That not only goes for our team, but every team. Look no further than Miami this past weekend if you don't believe me.
 
Im hoping we have the type of team leadership this year where they will be focused and take care of business.

I do worry less this year about this type of game than I would last year.

I think we've got a good group.
