And we thought Florida was a messy dynamic...!

Reading this, from Dellenger, I wonder what knucklehead would say "Yes" to those Red Stick people.

Wow.

After reading this article, I hope Bama craps in LSwho's jambalaya!!!!!!!!!

Wow.

I lived in that state for 9 months and couldnt stand it at all.
Them people down there are just different from the rest of the south..

I expect Joe Brady to LSU, personal opinion. They really like him down there. Tulane’s got a really good coach but too many at LSU would not support that move. (Kinda sorta like “Tulane’s coach is not good enough for us”

Joe is an exceptional football mind and great play caller. Will be interesting to see how he is as a head coach. He is very unassuming and will have to get out of his comfort zone quite a bit to be successful. There are definitely worst first jobs then LSU but I'm not so sure he would be set up for success as the learning curve and room for error will be very unforgiving.

Why would Brady choose LSU if he's expected to get NFL HC opportunities this cycle, especially when the word has always been that he didn't love the college grind?

ADs need to just avoid buyouts altogether. Regardless how the coach leaves the transfer portal still opens. Might as well get everyone on the same page, pay for play.

I think a lot of these coaches are tanking to get the buyout to go do something else but this.

And don't forget we are in the same predicament in that CKD contract is fully guaranteed.

The players, coaches, and agents are literally robbing these programs...
Agreed, although I’d say they are figuratively robbing them 😝.

It$ a my$tery, for $ure... 🤔
He could already be making more than he's making right now if money was his biggest draw

I'm not making any assertions either way, I don't know much about the guy, other than the word is "he's an NFL guy," and his actions have been fully consistent with that

as many job openings as there are, you don't think someone goes after him?
Good point, but there is being gone after and taking the right fit. Not sure he would be considered for one of these premier jobs opening up (unless someone nabs the Washington Coach) but there are still some decent teams that could get their coach poached in this cycle. I always got the feeling he wanted to stay on the left coach so maybe a job like Cal or even UCLA might go after him.

based on what?

As much as he's talked about in relation to Kalen DeBoer's success on a national scene, I could easily see a smaller P4 team taking a shot at him. If I'm UCLA, Grubb would be on my list. My god, they hired Deshaun Foster as their HC. LOL! If he wants to be a HC he won't be at Alabama long, especially if his offenses at Alabama keep doing what it's been doing.

I think he needs to rebuild his reputation for a bit 1st.

Smaller west coast schools might give him a look but I get the impression he wants a Higher profile gig.

His peak so far was ‘22 and ‘23 when Washington had a #7 and number #13 ranked Offense.

This year we are around 35th and can’t run the ball.

Every game we go through periods of BoB level stuff where we seemingly run when we should pass and pass when we should run.

We get behind the chains way too often off negative plays where we should be trying to just convert and move the chains.

We need aggressive 4th down trickery to convert and sometimes because we used unnecessary trickery on 1st down to put us in that bind.

I think there really is a potentially very good OC in him if he’d tweak some things and change tendencies a bit.

But imo it would be a big gamble for a even a Mid level P4 team to offer him a HC gig.

If he can create a Top 5 Offense that wins some Hardware he’d reach a new high and would likely get a lot better interest and/or Offers.
