Coaching carousel 2025-26

  • HELLO AGAIN, Guest! We are back, live! We're still doing some troubleshooting and maintenance to fix a few remaining issues but everything looks stable now (except front page which we're working on over next day or two)

Thanks for your patience and support! MUCH appreciated! --Brett (BamaNation)

if you see any problems - please post them in the Troubleshooting board!

Lsu, auburn, Florida can get off the Lane train, he is staying at Ole Miss! I believe LSU will go after Sumral, I still am on schulman to Florida, even though James Franklin I've heard is getting a little traction, Auburn probably Jimbo, go ahead auburn his offenses are 1990 based, and Arkansas could get lashlee,I know he signed a extension but remember Arkansas money, Tyson chicken,Jerry Jones and Wal- Mart!

Surely the gators aren't stupid enough to go to Franklin. I mean, the UF job is better than state pen for crying out loud. That would be the most hilariously depressing decision an SEC team could make.

I think VT will fill the position fast because they don't want Franklin to hold out long. Offer him the job and he can just chill and observe the team for the next few gams to evaluate the staff and the players.

I found this thoughtful: While LSU and Florida are battling-out the Lane Lottery ... Auburn and Arkansas should turn their attentions on locking-down a NOT KIFFIN coach before the loser has to fight for him.

And "him" is Key, from Tech.
🤔

Tigerdroppings still think CNS is the guy
Of course they think that. Nick Saban once say he did not want to end up coaching as long as Bowden and JoePa. Saban got out of coaching for several reasons. There is zero percent chance he goes back to LSU. But I understand that until LSU introduces a new coach, there are corndoggies who believe Saban will come back and rescue them.

Just idle musings on my part, I think he’s done coaching……BUT if he were to go back, I’ve wondered if it would be LSU , or Alabama, or bust. They know a lot of people in BR and I think that they enjoyed it there.

There's no upside to getting back into coaching, but there are a lot of downsides. I've seen crazier things but I would be shocked if he took the LSU job or got back into coaching at all.
