The Decline of the DNC IV

And when they recruit clowns like Jimmy Kimmel to push that bizarre narrative, it's only hurting them rather than helping. The left would be better off not saying anything at all, but of course, they just can't help themselves. I do hope the DOJ is making a good-faith effort here and not just talking out of their asses (as the DOJ is wont to do.)
Let me also add that I think these Antifa dudes are pretty much the same people as Occupy Wall Street and they really or more anarchists than anti-fascists. YMMV.

I don't see them as anti-fascist at all. If anything, they are just the opposite: unrecognized brown shirts for an organization that totally keeps covering for them. Again, it can't be stated strongly enough: we need to know who is funding these clowns and more importantly, what their endgame is.

In Shakespeare’s Richard III, Queen Elizabeth — whose husband King Edward IV was overthrown and her twins taken to the Tower — asks the older Queen Margaret (widow of the murdered King Henry VI) to “teach me how to curse mine enemies.” The Queen responds that it is easy: “Think that thy babes were sweeter than they were, And he that slew them fouler than he is.”

The lesson: The key to hate is to decouple it entirely from reason and reality. Only then can you hate completely without restraint or regret.

It seems that the left has learned how to hate. Hateful speech is in vogue as Democratic leaders ramp up violent rhetoric and political violence rises. The key is to get voters to hate your opponent so much that they forget how much they dislike you.

The irony is crushing. For years, liberals have sought to criminalize hate speech while expanding the range of viewpoints considered to fall within this category. Democratic leaders, from senators to former presidential candidates, have falsely claimed that hate speech is not protected under the First Amendment.

This is the kind of stuff that happens when a narcissist suddenly becomes irrelevant.
As Democrats go, you know you've hit peak stupidity when even Wapo is calling you out.

When government seems incapable of building housing, fixing schools or balancing budgets, even sympathetic voters lose faith.

If Democrats want to rebuild that faith, they must rediscover the lost art of competence.

My take:

I was going to post something similar about this.

My perspective is that whether you live in the North, South, East, or West, people who live in cities pretty much want the same things. People who live in rural areas want pretty much the same things. You get 20 miles outside of Atlanta and 20 miles outside of Chicago, those people are going to have more in common than not accents aside.

Democrats can't field a message much less a candidate on any statewide ballot in Alabama. We are not talking about winning. They are not even showing up. For the last 30 years...

That to me is a party who long lost or gave up it's relevancy to the American people. And it is this same common thread that opened the door wide for Trump to come in and rob America of its democracy, dignity, economy, health, and justice.

Im not sure how autocrats take power elsewhere but the American version is to just give it to them...

Excellent summary of the Dems. All their expensive programs only help the bureaucracy/politicians/unions, not the poor/elderly/children. And when the programs are catastrophic failures, the “solution” to help the poor/elderly/children is always another expensive program (grift) to enhance the bureaucracy/politicians/unions.

But the problem with that narrative is that it flies in the face of the reality of Republican(and now MAGA) objectives. Which is: To try to prove that government is incompetent by appointing the most incompetent people to run it.

I give you Ka$h Patel for example. Meet Lindsey Halligan, and insurance lawyer who had only worked on 3 Federal cases before being promoted to US Attorney for Eastern District of VA. Meet RFK Jr, anti-vaxx nutjob with zero experience in public health.

The list goes on. Before someone starts complaining about competence in government, he/she should look in the mirror.

The indictment alleges Cherfilus-McCormick, 46, and her brother, Edwin Cherfilus, 51, received a $5 million overpayment in FEMA funds directed to their family health care company in connection with a contract for COVID-19 vaccination staffing in 2021.

Afterward, Cherfilus-McCormick and other co-defendants allegedly conspired to use the overpaid funds to benefit her campaign by routing it through multiple accounts to disguise its source, according to the DOJ.

DEMOCRAT & CONVICTED CHILD MOLESTER RUNNING FOR MAYOR IN RI

Michael English, a Democrat and a CONVICTED child molester, is currently running for mayor in Providence, Rhode Island.

In 1998, English pleaded no contest to sexually molesting a 13-year-old girl. He served ONLY 15 months of a 20-YEAR sentence before being released. He then spent an additional 19 months in prison in 2009 after violating a no-contact order with the victim.

English does not appear on the RI sex offender registry due to his registry expiring after only 10 years.

I'm thinking (hoping) that this conviction will be a bit of a hurdle.
