You were saying without Weis he will fail. Shouldn’t he be allowed to get his players, choose an offensive philosophy and proceed? If nothing else he should be allowed to strike out in the portal.

Name a coach in the SEC you'd take over Kirby? He's no Saban but his teams consistently have what we're wanting to see out of DeBoers Alabama team. Kirby hasnt been blownout three times in the same year with the level of talent that we have and he puts a more consistent product on the field.

Probably. I think if he somehow keeps Chambliss then it might not be so bad. But I have my doubts he can pull it off.

Yeah but he still lost to a team to a 4 win team at home that had to pull a running back in to play quarterback because they ran out of them. That game kept them out of the playoffs in a year that Bama didn’t make it. That might be the most embarrassing loss in the SEC in the last 20 something years.

But to answer the question… I wouldn’t take a coach over Kirby in the SEC even though he has a losing record vs DeBoer. But living under a Bobo offense would drive me crazy, but not as crazy as living under a Grubb led one.
